Secluded home bordering the Mohonk Preserve, dog friendly, 3-bedroom

We had the best time at Sheila’s home! Super clean, organized and had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and just hanging around the house. We also loved the fire pit outside for s’mores! Would definitely recommend staying here while exploring New Paltz, Gardiner and Walden. Thanks Sheila!

The place was incredible. A beautiful home tucked away in the woods with stunning views all around. The owner was wonderful and accommodating.

We had no issues at all. Nice area, peaceful and quiet. The bedrooms were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The communication with the host was also great, she responded right away. We stayed there with three adults and two kids, ages 14 and 12. All good, I recommend this property. Close to New Paltz which is such a cute town.

We had an excellent stay! The host was very helpful and promptly responded to our requests and inquiries. They readily accommodated our needs. Excellent and lovely location. Near a lot of key places that we wanted to visit. Ample private parking. We will definitely stay there again.

The house was very clean and and just right for me and my sons and their wives. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the bedrooms on three separate levels accommodated us well. The host responded immediately and made access to the house easy. Very private and beautiful setting. Convenient to the neat little town/village of New Palz. We were mostly gone during the day but it would be a pleasant place to go for a getaway to stay around the house and drink coffee and read or watch tv and enjoy nature right outside. :)

Beautiful house and amazing location. In the bedrooms, it really feels like you are in a tree house. The house is secluded but it's within 10min of New Paltz, Gardiner, and Minnewaska. Perfect to unplug for a long weekend.

You cannot find a better location! So close to the most amazing hiking in Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park, and also the quaint town of New Paltz. The house itself is clean, comfortable and very private. Great deck. It has everything you need for a great stay. Would definitely rent it again. The host also was super accessible when I had a question about the AC.

My family and dog enjoyed our stay, the house was clean had a nice outdoor deck and a great firepit for evenings. Some of us were climbing in the Gunks and some of us were just hanging in town and this house was the perfect location for both. The host was easy to work with, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful house and an awesome location! We had a great weekend and totally enjoyed the deck with the gas fire pit. The house was clean, stocked with essentials, and incredibly peaceful!

We had an incredible stay! We came up for a ladies weekend to get outdoors, explore the area, and do some cooking in and this property was the perfect spot for all of the above. The layout was ideal with a bedroom on every level and the location was sublime, right next to the Mohonk Preserve! Owls, woodpeckers, snakes and birdsong were all lovely additions to our stay. We will certainly be back!

My friends and I had a really nice time at Sheila's property for a spring weekend! When you're sitting in the living room, it really feels like you're in a tree house. It was comfortable for 6 of us (2 in each room) to hang out inside when it was rainy outside. Check in and check out was easy. Location was perfect for our needs (hiking in Minnewaska and Mohonk and roller skating at Skate Time in Accord). I recommend bringing coffee filters if you're planning on making coffee! Also, just a quick warning - the driveway is very steep with a little bit of a drop off on one side.
