Secluded Hideaway with Private Dock!

Absolutely stunning house! Great views of Lake Superior AND the dock was simply incredible.

Went on a siblings weekend with 6 adults total. The property was beautiful and had amazing sunrises. The property supplied everything that we needed. The host Karen was very responsive to any questions that we had. Lots of brochures in the home with things to do around the Bayfield area. We went to Madeline Island on the Ferry one day which was a first for 4 members of our group. We had a wonderful weekend with PERFECT weather!

We enjoyed our visit at the Secluded Hideaway. It is very clean, spacious with a well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. We enjoyed the outdoor fire table and dock on Lake Superior.Hope to return sgain.

This beautiful home had a million-dollar view. We were so happy with our stay there and would love to come back.

Amazing lakefront property. It was perfect for our group of 6. Comfortable beds and we all had our own bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked and we did cook dinners a few nights. Bayfield is close for eating out, shopping and catching the ferry or taking a boat tour. Propane fire table on deck is a nice touch. And the fireplace inside was great for our one rainy day. Weather was perfect the rest of the week. It was hard to leave!

Beautiful home with views of the lake surrounded by forest. Every room has spectacular floor to ceiling views. The house is stocked with everything you need to stay and cook while the area offers many places to enjoy eating out. Large comfortable areas to spend time with your fellow travelers and numerous spots to enjoy the beauty on your own.

The Secluded Hideaway exceeded our expectations. the trip included my adult children, their spouses, girlfriends and friends so having my own separate suite was ideal. The outdoor seating area was perfect for dinner outside and the large indoor dining table worked perfectly for cards/games at night. The views from inside, as well as the different outdoor sitting areas and pier were amazing. When dealing with an internet issue the hosts responded immediately.

Beautiful, spacious house, well-appointed, fantastic views, with a short walk down to a dock and swimming area on Lake Superior. There are lots of secluded places to sit and watch the water. We loved it, and would happily come back again.

We enjoyed our stay in this very beautiful setting. Spacious accommodations with great views from every room. The dock and lake are exceptional! The check in was very easy.

We were very happy with our stay and had a very nice reunion with friends. It was nice to have our own bedroom and bathroom. Karen and Keith were very responsive to our questions and we would definitely coming back again.

We LOVED our stay in Bayfield--the home affords astounding views of Lake Superior; accommodations that provided three families with their own private sleeping and bathroom spaces; an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen; numerous areas to lounge and relax; a dock for fishing and enjoying the water up close; and dining space for 8 both indoors and out. We brought two teenagers who flourished in the outdoor opportunities--a bit of a surprise considering their normal attachment to their phones! The 76 stairs to the dock were not as daunting as we anticipated. The reward at the bottom of such spectacular views and relaxing times in the Adirondeck chairs wiped out any fatigue. We hope we can return to experience all this little paradise has to offer again.

Great stay!

Our group enjoyed a lovely 5 day stay at Whispering Pines in mid-September! The location of the property was fantastic right on the water. We were blessed with spectacular sunrises every morning of our stay! It's just a few miles from Bayfield and all the sites in the area. We enjoyed shopping, a winery, Meyer's Beach hike, Apostle Island Cruise, Madeline Island visit, and area restaurants. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this property and can't wait to return again someday!

We loved our four nights at this secluded property! It was the perfect spot for four couples to relax after our Apostle Island adventures. We gathered as a large group in the spacious family room, large dining table, outdoor fire table, and the dock while the spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms provided privacy. The hosts were exceptional in communication, answering all of my questions while planning our vacation. I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to the Bayfield area!

Wonderful, peaceful setting with beautiful views. Really enjoyed having morning coffee while relaxing on the dock. It was a great set up for us and 4 of our adult children. Convenient to everything we wanted to do in the Apostle Islands!

My 3 friends and I celebrated our 50th birthdays with a quick getaway together. Karen’s gorgeous lakefront home exceeded our expectations. Our favorite gathering spot was the oversized dock. Although I was the only one who was up early enough to greet the first light of day in peaceful solitude on the dock, we all enjoyed some mid morning sun time before exploring Bayfield and Madeline Island shops and restaurants. Awesome relaxing and beautiful

I can’t say enough good things about this home. It’s in a beautiful location, there are well kept paths with conveniently placed benches to take in the scenery. There are cozy blankets available, the home is very spacious with all the amenities we could have hoped for. It is equipped with everything you could want or need as far as kitchen supplies. It has a great layout for bedrooms. Even if some in your party want to go to bed earlier, it is laid out in a way that you could definitely do that. Great outdoor spaces! An amazing dock on Lake Superior to enjoy the sun, watch bald eagles and just listen to the waves. It’s close to the cute town of Bayfield where there’s an abundance of fun shops and the best coffee I’ve had in my life-at Wonderstate Coffee! The owners are so quick to respond if you do happen to have any questions. They are so very accommodating and I would say out of all the vrbo’s my family and I have visited over the years, we all agree these hosts make you feel the most at home. We spent a large amount of our time paddle boarding on Lake Superior. If you stay close to the shoreline there are breathtaking views. It’s also nice that there is a spot under the stairs where we could store our paddle boards so we didn’t have to haul them back and forth between trips. We hope to return in the future!!
