Loved this property! So secluded and a great stay! Great views and there’s a lot to do in the house as well! Had a great stay!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed getting away for the weekend; this little cabin really had so much to offer in the way of some much needed R&R. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful cabin, surrounding area is covered by forest scenery and breathtaking mountain scene. Home was cozy, and inviting! we sat in the hot tub and just enjoyed the beauty! would definitely recommend!!
Great views of Pikes Peak! Room to roam around the property. Great get-away.
Great secluded cabin with wonderful views and all the amenities one could ask for!
What a fantastic setting! Love the birds, wildflowers, and stars! Great home with all the amenities, including a hot tub!
The cabin and surrounding area are magical! Wildflowers in full bloom, stunning views off the deck of Pike’s Peak, and lots of privacy. That being said, there were some elements that could improve. The hot tub didn’t warm up past 91 degrees, the propane tanks were empty so I had to go to town to fill them in order to grill, and the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes. We had to hand wash them before and after use to make sure that they were clean. Overall, an incredible stay that we loved, but we would have loved to use the hot tub. At 91 degrees it was a bit too chilly at night.
We had a great time staying here! The property is absolutely beautiful and the Mountain view was amazing. The home was clean and had a few kitchen items (salt, cooking spray, pots, pans, etc). It also has everything you need to use the grill and the hot tub out on the deck. The dryer was broken, so we had to lay all of our clothes out to dry, which was super inconvenient. The stove burners need replaced or cleaned really well, they smoked when cooking and set the smoke alarm off. Also, don’t expect to have a real comfortable place to watch a movie or TV at night. The TV is old with a broken DVD/VHS player built in. Overall, we had a great time and the few inconveniences we experienced were nothing to really fuss about!
Secluded little cabin perfect for a short get away from life. We will be back!
We traveled in from KC. Absolutely worth every minute of the drive. Will be back. My daughter is still talking about our new cabin in the mountains.
We are able to drive an hour from the city and enjoy peace and solitude on the property with an amazing view of Pikes Peak.
Great location just off of the highway with no road noise at all, driveway is rough, higher ground clearance is a must! No Wifi but had great 5G Verizon service, could use a few updates but will definitely stay here again!
The property has been a rental for a long time, and it shows. For the most part, it was great. The grill worked, although the heat shields were rusted and disintegrating. Biggest complaint is the broken hot tub lid. Hot tub works, but the lid is in pieces and falling out of it's sleeve, so kind of a pain to put the lid on good enough so the temp was warm the next day. I only harp on that because a hot tub is one of the 'must-haves' when we stay at a rental. Other than that, really good spot and you really feel like you are getting away.
Just what we were looking for.
We were looking for a remote getaway and this more than fit the bill. The house is tucked back into a secluded meadow and the 100+ acres allowed us to wander the property in peace and solitude.
We loved the property and privacy. Honestly a few upgrades would of been nice like a modern television, cover for hot tub was broken in two, and the gas grill is on its last leg . Don’t get me wrong it was very nice , just a little up keep would help I think.
A great place for our desired seclusion. Just enough amenities for our stay.
This property offered my family an amazing opportunity to experience Colorado with stunning views, gorgeous terrain, plentiful wildlife, and a clean, beautiful cabin! We throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. A BIG thank you to the owners for sharing their little piece of heaven with our family. We definitely made memories that will last a lifetime!
No complaints, we had a great time, loved the property and really appreciated the opportunity to stay at this location.
If your looking for a small secluded home within 30min from a Walmart, this is it! The property and views are amazing. There were 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 teens. Space was small but had no issues. We had a great trip!
The location is great, lots of privacy. The cabin needs some upgrades old T.V. broken screen door, torn couch, the filter cover was missing on hot tub. Beds were ok a queen size in the bottom bedroom next to the bathroom would have been nice. Over all this is a great place but it could be an amazing place with some newer touches.
