Stayed Aug 4, 2023We had an absolutely fantastic vacation here. Farnaz was communicative and a pleasure to deal with. The house itself is stunning, the property is beautifully landscaped, and the furniture and decor are comfortable and feel luxurious. The pool is larger than it looks in photographs and the screened in porch is a dream. The location is convenient, close to the bay beaches without being too buggy and a short drive to Amagansett for those wanting to go into town or swing by the ocean beaches. Will definitely be rebooking!

Stayed Aug 21, 2023Beautiful pool and uniquely designed interior! My kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Our stay was very nice! The pool was amazing, master bedroom has a cozy unique feature, feels warm and inviting. For summer months, I think it would be wise to spray the property for mosquitoes. That was the only issue for us. Otherwise great stay!

Stayed Jul 21, 2023I’m can’t say enough good things about this lovely house. It’s comfortable, incredibly clean and well maintained, and is super charming — very design-forward and stylish. There are gorgeous details everywhere — from the high-end sheets and towels to the baskets and beads hanging from the walls to the baskets of towels for the beach or pool. And the pool!! The whole property is beautifully designed and considered. The pool itself is lovely and the same goes for the lounge chairs and the hammocks and the fire pit…I could go on. On top of this I found the owners to be very solicitous and responsive. We would go back in a heartbeat — what a special rental.

Stayed Jul 27, 2018We absolutely loved it! My wife, our 3 kids and I spent 2.5 weeks at Farnaz' house in Springs this summer and it was fantastic. The house and garden are so beautifully designed and furnished - it looks even better than in the pictures. Everything is super clean, perfectly stacked kitchen and supplies with everything you need. Also the location is wonderful with only 10 minutes drive to Amagansett, its beach, or East Hampton. I can highly recommend it and we would love to come back! Thank you, Farnaz!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this was probably the most successful one we have ever had. First, the house is comfortable, and an interesting combination of elegant design with rustic touches. There was absolutely nothing frumpy or rundown in the house -- the beds had beautiful linens, the towels were Turkish foutas, and the kitchen was well-stocked (and everything was even labeled). About nine times out of ten when we stay at VRBOs there is only one knife (and not a good one at that) and a dearth of important kitchen tools like a garlic press, barbecue tools, etc. This was not the case at this house! In fact, they had a plethora of high-end Henckels knives, which really makes a difference when you're cooking. The kitchen is set up how you would want your own kitchen -- not like a typical rental. The real gem of the home, however, is the yard and the pool. We had sought out a house with a large fenced yard because we have an elderly dog and wanted to give him a nice summer away from the city. We could not have been more pleased: the house was well fenced and gated, the yard was large and beautiful, with a wild (yet accessible) feel, and the pool was soooo nice. It is heated, which makes a HUGE difference for me since most pools are too cold for me. I spent many hours each day just floating around in the pool, watching all of the birds who came to eat at the feeders. The pool is very well managed and does not have a strong chlorine smell and did not make our eyes red. We also ate most of our meals in the screened porch, so we actually didn't spend that much time *inside* the house. In the evenings, we watched movies, as the house has several movie services connected (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) for free movies or rentals. The house is located in the Springs, which is Northwest of East Hampton. It was wooded, yet didn't feel isolated (there are neighbors), and was about a 10-15 minute drive from towns (Amagansett, East Hampton, Sag Harbor) and farmstands. It's tricky to go to the beach in the East Hampton area -- I wish I had figured out in advance how to get a beach permit (though we spent most of our time in the pool), so that would be worth looking into. Last but not least, the owner, Farnaz, was lovely to deal with. She responded to all of my emails, was kind and considerate, and made it easy for us to arrange things like cleaning service, trash removal, etc. In sum: We loved it.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful extended Easter weekend stay! The location is perfect (also) for this time of the year since we could use the fireplace in the evening and all the outdoor amenities during the day. The house is cosy, spacious and truely a design lovers place with a warm atmosphere. Wonderful open kitchen and outdoor grill! It is close to the beaches & sights and yet remotely located in the woods. We will come back....

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I love this place so much this is our third winter retreat here. It is the globally styled warm interior with its fireplace and the amenities of a home, that make for such a cozy retreat. A five minute drive and we are on any number of beach and bay vista's with their Odd Nerdrum landscapes, that invigorate the whole experience. The imaginatively landscaped garden invite a number of outdoor meditative escapes or places to gather to entertain and dine. We are looking forward to a summer rental, to soak up this enchanted retreat.
