Secluded 3BR Cabin • Fire Pit • RV Parking • Near Tippy Dam & Big-M Trails

Very nice space for six people and two dogs. Beds were firm and somewhat uncomfortable but we got through. Needed more dish soap, counter cleaner, paper towel, and trash bags. We cooked 80% of our meals here and the kitchen was fabulous minus the above items. The power company shut off power on us with 15 minutes notice but fortunately we were on our way out for the day. Overall, great place to stay but I would pack my own kitchen supplies if you care about cleanliness. Great host, she was very accessible.

Great house. If we could afford to stay in it the whole time we are working out of state we would. It was a little out of our budget but well worth it.

Wonderful place to stay in Wellston! Plenty of room for parking. We could ride our ORVs right from the house. House was clean and beds are comfortable. Cute and had everything we needed. Nice sized yard for our dog to play outside and there is a charcoal grill that cooks nicely. The host is nice and very responsive. Really enjoyed our stay!

Very well equipped kitchen, everything was nice and clean, getting in and out of the property was easy, perfect location, and the host was easy to communicate with and responded promptly!

Tammy & Her Husband were very nice and very responsive, we came up to visit our family who daughters birthday it was so we planned a small weekend vacay there, the cabin was very clean & well taken care of, the property was clean & our puppy enjoyed to roam freely without any neighbors complaining, we will book again in the future. The process of renting this cottage for the weekend was great from start to finish. The property was absolutely as described, Clean like brand new, quiet. Serene and everything we needed it to be. My wife and I look forward to staying in this location in the future, as now that we found our way, the trails around the location are endless. 6 stars

The property was beautiful! We booked this as a home base to do some hiking in the area. It was perfect for what we needed! Everything was very clean when we arrived. The host had also given us a very thorough welcome packet that was very helpful. It detailed where everything was in the house and gave other important information. We were very impressed and would definitely come back!

Mybson I stayed here to do some salmon fishing. We choose this house because the close proximity to Tippy dam and other locations along the river. Great house, host was responsive, everything was as expected.

We (2 families with kids) recently stayed at the this cabin and had a fantastic time. The cabin was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the set up with all necessary utensils. The cabin had a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a tranquilizing getaway. The quite environment and outside nature was very relaxing. The cabin is located near to all major tourist attractions, hiking trails. Tammy is a great host. She was very helpful on suggesting few places. We covered few places which were very beautiful. Also she was very quick in replying all the queries we have. Overall, we would definitely recommend this cabin for a family vacation and would consider staying here again in future..

The cabin was absolutely the perfect size for three couples and two dogs. Having two bathrooms and three bedrooms and adequately sized beds for large humans was the perfect atmosphere for our family getaway. As advertised, we did a canoe adventure on the Pine River and our son fly fish the Manistee river while we took in nature. Just a short drive to either Cadillac or Manistee if we needed something was excellent.

We loved the property, it was clean and upated. The perfect location for a quiet rest out of town, but also easy access to the beach and things to do.

This was our second year in a row staying at the cabin, and it continues to be a peaceful, comfortable retreat. It’s very sturdily built and incredibly quiet -- perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. We've stayed during the heat of summer both times, and the home has handled it well: individual AC units upstairs and central air throughout keep things cool and comfortable. Blackout curtains and calming lighting add to the relaxed evening atmosphere.The cabin is well-equipped with everything you’d need... plenty of cookware, pots and pans, and comfortable foam mattresses. For us, the biggest draw is its proximity to the Big M trail system. You can actually ride from the cabin to Big M, making it an ideal spot for mountain bikers or anyone looking to explore the Manistee National Forest. The surrounding natural beauty is hard to beat, and the location makes it easy to soak it all in.The hosts are great communicators and have been extra accommodating, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciate their attentiveness and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a great stay! The house had everything you could need. We only ate out once the whole week because the kitchen was well equipped. The property was quiet and secluded but it was a quick drive to Manistee. Wish we could’ve stayed another week.

Super cozy and updated cabin with everything you need! Loved the quiet wooded setting and the deck was perfect for enjoying the morning sun. The cabin has 3 nice bedrooms all with their own TV, and 2 updated bathrooms. Great location—close to all the local attractions. The host was quick to respond and super helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice cabin in the woods near Manistee River. Perfect for me and fishing. Had a great time cabin had all of the essentials for cooking and relaxing. I will certainly be back.

We are 2 retired couples who snowshoe. Our time at the cabin was fun and comfortable. The amount of snow was terrific! West Michigan had so much more snow than the east side. Although it was cold outside, the cabin was warm and cozy. Taking a hot shower after an outing was very relaxing. We enjoyed going to Manistee which is only 20 minutes away.

This was a great getaway. We relaxed, played games and even played a little in the snow. Beautiful Cabin in a great area. Will definitely visit again!

This was truly one of my best VRBO experiences! My family and I loved the setting. We walked our dog down the road, which felt like a secluded winter wonderland. The cabin is set back from the road and gave us the privacy we were hoping for. We skiied at Crystal Mountain which was an easy 30 minute trip from the cabin. The cabin itself was extremely clean and quaint. We loved having our own bedrooms and two baths. The kitchen was well-supplied and the hosts supplied us with a gift basket and access to anything in the cupboards. I had brought coffee for a filter, but there was a Keurig rather than a coffeepot. No worries, there was a full package of Starbucks French Roast pods. The hosts thought of every detail to make this visit a joy. I hope we can return!

Great for hunting camp. Extra space to store your gear so its not in your way. In the middle of 2 bigger cities, but far enough to get away and hunt. Hunting in 2024 perfection.
