Cabin like place fireplace

Very clean and charming home. The host, James, is very thoughtful and delightful. The kitchen beckons you to cook rather than go out to eat. The hot tub was clean, hot, and pleasant under the stars. The fire pit and the decorated walking trail appealed to us forest lovers. This is a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful home. I highly recommend this location to everyone and will stay anytime I’m back in Washington.

incredible communication with the owner who was very thoughtful and great information provided. The welcome packet was full of good info. The place feels modern and the kichen is for anyone who likes to cook Peaceful, private, yet close to Whidbey spots for beach, hikes, art, food. . So clean and has every amenity. My fam liked the coffee center !

Great location that is next to a small store. Had mostly everything we needed and more. Host was super welcoming and let us check in early. Appreciated his communication the entire time.

Lovely house. Very clean and modern. Pretty much exactly as advertised. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds comfortable and linens looked brand new. We were able to charge our EV with the class 1 charger, although it took two overnights. We would highly recommend this home.

James is so kind and generous with his time and attention and the home is welcoming with everything where you would expect it to be. The well outfitted kitchen, master suite, hot tub off the front deck, fire pit, and the whimsical trail out the back were the highlights of this home situated in a beautiful clearing in the woods.

We had a fantastic stay, would highly recommend! The location was perfect, a few minutes from the ferry terminal and central to everything we wanted to explore, yet it felt completely secluded and peaceful. We especially loved the large grassy lawn, cozy fire pit, and quiet atmosphere that made for a perfect escape from the city.

This place does not disappoint! James was the most amazing host. Kind, considerate, quick to reply, and so thoughtful. The home is beautiful and very well kept. Everything was clean and organized. The beds were comfortable and plenty of linens were provided. Check in/out was a breeze. The home itself is very cozy and modern. Some of our favorite amenities were the espresso maker, heated bathroom floors, and the beautiful shower and comfy robes in the primary bathroom. The yard is very peaceful and we had fun exploring the trails around the property. The hot tub was fantastic and we spent hours relaxing around the huge new fire ring every evening. It is a short 10 minute drive to Possession Point State Park, less than 20 minutes to Freeland (highly recommend the Freeland Cafe for all day breakfast and the cute thrift store directly behind it) and we loved visiting Langley and strolling the boardwalk and shops. This was our second trip to Whidbey Island and we’re already planning the next one. We will definitely book James’ place again. We can’t say enough good things about him and his lovely home in the woods.
