It was a magical place to share with my son, my daughter-in-law, and my granddaughter. They live in West Sacramento so it is a big trip for a toddler. We had Thanksgiving at your home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My son told me they would love to come back if we could stay at your home again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
Beautiful home We’ll equipped Great location Granddaughter loved the hot tub Would definitely stay there again
We thoroughly enjoyed our lodging at Seaview in Trinidad and the host and team were most helpful and accommodating when. Had an issue which was immediately resolved. The home is luxurious on all levels, and well equipped. Spotless. We are sourdough bakers and enjoyed being able to indulge in our craft while overlooking the ocean. We saw whales out the window. Good wifi, stocked kitchen, jacuzzi a treat. Only next time we'll book for longer.
Just our honest review of what you are getting: The house is a pretty good location i.e. Trinidad. However for the nightly rate you would have expected the entire house to be updated. They have done a fantastic job with the kitchen and bathrooms. The master more than the other rooms is what is lacking the most. The quilt on the bed while clean had been overly washed so it was faded and needs to be replaced. All the beds have no headboards so to sit up in the master and look out at the view is very uncomfortable. One of the chairs in the master is very worn out and the table is highly scratched up. Also, the bench seat has stains on it and the fabric looks very old. There is a garage shown in the listing but is not usable to guests and should be noted in the listing. Although, the view from the back porch is pretty it doesn't fully show what you actually see. You are basically looking into someone else's yard, parking and home - not shown in the photos. The piano was very out of tune and was sad to hear to it played by those in our family who are pianists. We enjoyed the hot tub after our hike days. We loved having the washer dryer for a mid week laundry day. The living room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. It was helpful to see the complimentary soaps given for bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and dishwasher. It is a decent house and location. I am not upset with our stay just trying to give renters a complete honest review of what we experienced.
We had a wonderful stay in Trinidad and the location was perfect for exploring the Redwoods National and State Parks. The view from the home and deck was beautiful, and we loved all the stars were able to see on a clear night. The beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed! We would love to come back!
Ideal place for our family! Spacious, with well-equipped kitchen, beautiful views, and very clean! Ideally located for day trips to the beach, redwood forest trails, and great dining at Larrupin cafe. Would definitely recommend!
Nice view
A beautiful home with great views.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures do not do this place justice. It is gorgeous and so comfortable. Sometimes when you stay at places like these, it feels bare boned and unwelcoming, but not this place! They had literally everything you could want-warm blankets, extra bedding, a fully stocked kitchen (and my husband is a chef!), games and an amazing hot tub. The views are incredible. It was such a great place to relax after all the hiking we did during the day. Only wish we could have stayed longer! For those thinking of visiting, we highly recommend going to Fern Canyon. It was a favorite of everyone on our trip. Definitely need to wear waterproof shoes for that adventure. The Trees of Mystery was very fun and a great immersive experience for kids and adults. Both of these destinations are only a short drive north. We enjoyed stopping for a bite at the Eatery and walking down to the beach after and exploring the tide pools (not sure of the name of the beach but its just past the Eatery restaurant). We did a lot of cooking so I can't recommend other restaurants but Murphy's is a great little grocery store that had everything we needed for our trip.
We stayed at the home for one week while visiting National and state parks and local beaches. It’s in a perfect location that provides quick access to parks while also offering peaceful surroundings and gorgeous ocean views. The home met all of our needs. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had every tool, cookware needed during our stay.
We really enjoyed this house for our family vacation. New updates inside the house are really nice, bathroom and kitchen are modern and clean. Messages to the owner via the vrbo app were never answered. When I called the property management group calls were answered quickly. Can't wait to visit again!
This house was in great condition, very well taken care of. The only small blips were that we almost couldn't get the keybox open when we arrived and a couple of the bathroom sinks hadn't been cleaned. The rest of the house was very clean. Linens/towels were good quality, though we couldn't find beach towels which would have been a nice bonus. The kitchen is very well-appointed. The town of Trinidad is a good base to explore the area. Very quiet and easy to navigate. We were glad we didn't stay in Arcata or Eureka. We would stay in this house again.
Perfect for family of 6. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 6 adults as one bedroom has no privacy. Kitchen well stocked. Enjoyed deck, view to ocean and hot tub. Only suggestion is to update the random furniture/decor in the bedrooms. Little on the pricey side but still would recommend.
It was a beautiful view , great location , and a nice house but needs some improvements. House smelt like wet dog and there was dirty trash left from the last people that stayed. Some dishes that were in the cabinets and drawers were dirty with old food. I had to wash a lot before cooking. Which made me think about what else could still be dirty in the house. Cook ware was old and the two skillets were tiny. It made it hard to cook for a family of 6. A large skillet would've been great and something to clean the counters with.. Beds were very hard and showers needed to be cleaned better. Other than that it was a very nice house. Everyone loved the hot tub.
