Stayed Mar 31, 2024We were staying in Clear Water for nearby medical treatment for my mother and although the location of the house was good, the overall cleanliness of the home was really bad. On the surface, it looked clean when we arrived but we noticed right away that the kitchen floor had a sticky substance all over it, there were two used bowls in the sink and the bathrooms needed cleaning again because there was hair and filth on the toilet seats. The porch, windows and baseboards as well and door handles were all dirty as if someone had moved out and not wiped anything down. The air freshener was overwhelming and the patio room ceiling had caved in so that room was off limits. Apparently, we were notified by the manager about the cave in while we were in flight. We asked that the repairs not happen while we were there. That request was honored but there was no compensation offered for a portion of the house being off limits. Every other VRBO we’ve ever stayed in was cleaned to hotel standards and we expected the same here. After cleaning ourselves we were very unhappy to find that the towels folded on our beds were damp as if they were pulled out of the dryer wet and placed on the beds. After rewashing and drying the bath towels, we learned that you can’t get hot water in the master shower. I have yet to receive the cleaning fee back we were promised. This house needs attention and we can’t recommend it
