Seaside House, which has recently been redecorated and refurbished (Feb 2022) and named in Trip Advisor's top 10 holiday rentals to stay in Northumberland (September 2020) is ideally located on the outskirts of Seahouses. Recently updated and refurbished, this tastefully decorated property benefits from a peaceful location, yet within walking distance of the harbour, beaches, golf club, and the village with it's many pubs, restaurants and shops. At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from the harbour. The stunning Bamburgh castle and it's beautiful beach is only 3 mile away, and the historic market town of Alnwick, with it's majestic gardens and castle (used in many movies including Harry Potter), is only a short drive. The heritage coastline is dotted with more castles, beautiful beaches and fishing villages, as well as Holy Island.
The Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National park are close by, as well as the border towns of Berwick and Coldstream. Newcastle and Edinburgh are also easily accessible. Seaside House is an ideal property to stay, with it's sleeping flexibility, 2 bathrooms upstairs and cloakroom downstairs. Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival time after 3pm. Departure time 10am.

Due to Covid-19 we are undertaking extra cleaning and sanitizing at the property.

We will continue to supply bedding to all beds required, but we now kindly request guests to strip all bedding at the end of their stay, and place into Wash Bags provided.

We also continue to supply all towels, including t.towels.

We do allow guests to bring their own bedding/towels if they wish ..but must communicate this to us, when they book or before arrival date.

We are planning a refurbishment during this winter (2021). From 2022 2nd bedroom maybe 2 single beds

    This house was ideally located in a quiet area with a short walk to all the local shops, restaurants and pubs. There were also local tracks to the coast and along to the village. Seahouses is also a great location for exploring the Northumbrian coast. Accommodation was comfortable and well eqipped and the owner communicated promptly and was very helpful.

    This was a family holiday to explore some of the history of the area, and we were not disappointed.Seaside house is ideally located for exploring many places, like Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and many more.Also only a short walk into Seahouses. Loved Trotters Bakery, lots of nice things to eat.

    We enjoy walking and bird watching - this was a brilliant base, comfortable and well equipped property, with helpful neighbours and quick responses from Russell with any queries. An easy walk to shops, boats to Farne Islands as well as the beach.

    The house was lovely- very clean and well-equipped. Can’t think of anything else we would need! It was an easy stroll to the harbour and the amenities of Seahouses along the coastal path - the sea is literally at the end of the road! A great location for exploring the area - so much to do that we didn’t fit it all in and we were there a week! Good excuse to go back. Communication with Russell was excellent right from the time of booking. He even took the trouble to send some information about birdwatching sites when I mentioned that was an interest of my husband! Thank you so much Russell! We will definitely return!

    Lovely cottage in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the sea and the amenities of Seahouses. Everything you needed to self cater was there. Great base to explore the area from, and only a short distance from the fabulous Bamburgh beach and castle.

    Stayed here over the Christmas week, the property is in an ideal location close to Seahouses centre and easy access at end of the road to the waterfront.There is reserved parking for two cars.The property is well equipped and comfortable and warm.

    Had a great stay at Seaside House in Seahouses. House was lovely and absolutely spotless. Great location, few minutes walk from coast and town. Great places to eat. Brilliant to use for a base to visit all of the beautiful Northumberland coast. Would definitely recommend.

    Perfect location to explore the surrounding area. Lots of beautiful scenery and beaches, boat trips, castles and walks. Seaside House is clean and well equipped with everything you need. Communication with the owner Russell was excellent and helpful. Thank you for a great holiday!

    The house contained everything we needed including parking x2 spaces. Exactly as expected from the info on the website. Would have liked an initial acknowledgement from the owner. The design of the dining table legs made it difficult for 3 adults to sit at without moving the sofa. Cleaning could be better - dust on doors, pictures and under the coffee table. The neighbours budgies chirped from 5am.

    The house was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Nice lounge with plenty of books, CD's and DVD's. Great location a short distance from the sea, shops and pubs. We would stay there again.
