Seashore, 11 Mile Lagoon, Totally Renovated, Gated Community

This was our first family vacation and first visit to Hilton Head. The house was very roomy and it was easy driving around Hilton Head. Our only complaint is the floors in the house were dirty and the pool was a little too chilly (especially for our 3 year old granddaughter) to really enjoy like we had hoped. Other than that, it was a great trip!!! My husband catching an alligator off the little dock behind the house and deers in the yard all week were a bonus!!! Hope to visit Hilton Head again in the future!

Need to paint over mold in kitchenNeed to sweep entry walk and pool deck prior to guest occupancy. Install garden curbing to keep soil running on entry path to home. Overall it was a great home and met our needs.

We had to change a smoke detector battery as it was chirping and noted that the date on the detector was 2004. These should be changed at least every ten years.

We found the property to be as presented. Open floor plan provided plenty of room when we were all (7 of us) inside at the same time. The pool was enjoyable and put to good use.

Great location and amazing pool. Most of the house was newly renovated but the master bath could use some love.

We enjoyed the layout of the home. The pool was great. Sitting area outside near lagoon could use a good cleaning. We contacted Island Getaway about a few problems. Most were resolved. We asked that the sitting area be cleaned. They sent someone who used a leaf blower which improved the area. However they failed to clean the chairs which were too dirty to sit in. So we used the pool area which was great. Pool guy did excellent job. This is a very nice home.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. It was large and super awesome for each bedroom to have their own bathroom. The pool was amazing and the infinity edge on the pool added a beautiful ambiance of waterfall sounds continuously. Pool cleaners came while we were there and swept out the pool. It was very clean all week. We biked to the beach each time we went and the Bike Doctor delivered our bikes and picked them up. So convenient!! Super easy to get in upon arrival with checkin instructions and the numeric keypad was awesome so all of us could come and go as we pleased without having to share keys, etc. we loved our stay…was hard to leave. We also loved the Stars and Stripes sunset cruise that we took on our last night. Saw lots of dolphins…worth every penny! Neighborhood was beautiful and the biking on the beach and in the neighborhood was super fun. Easy and close groceries at Kroger and the general store had fun items, souvenirs and treats. Definitely would stay again!! Thank you for sharing your lovely pool and home with us!!

Wonderful stay at in HH in Palmetto Dunces. Spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, beautiful backyard with pool, close to the beach, comfortable beds and located in a lovely neighborhood.

Great experience from the beginning made for a wonderful family reunion. Would highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Palmetto Dunes. The heated pool gave us hours of enjoyment. The pleasant walk to the beach allowed us to observe a most amazing full moon. The beds were comfortable and our time spent together was enhanced by the great floor plan of the home. We shared much laughter and made precious memories.
