SEASCAPE Eight Bedroom Oceanfront Home with a Private Pool and Hot Tub

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were able to get in the house early but due to traveling we arrived a couple hours prior. The house was huge, needs some updates and there were some mold in upstairs bathrooms. Definitely can use paint on doors and trim. Overall family had a great time. Great location. Couldn’t utilize the outside grill/ bar area that needs updating but hot tub was a hit.

Blows into houseCalled in a maint request 1st day (no handles on main floor balcony. NO REPSONSE. That really sucked. Assumed someone would be there next day. No one ever came.

It is not modern, but clean and well stocked with pot, pans, dishes, bowls.... Beach Realty is very responsive to any mechanical problems.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has a plenty of room, so is great for a large extended family. It is rather old and does need some work. The carpet in the bedrooms is very old, worn and looks dirty. The instructions for using the elevator are outdated and incorrect. There is no key. The rental agency was very responsive A young man came and got it working and showed us what to do. Also, he logged into the account for the TV as it wasn't working. The kitchen is not very well-stocked if you want to do a lot of cooking. Not enough pots and pans.

BUT there are some areas that need to be attended to.During our stay we noticed the property had difficulty cooling different spaces of the house (would recommend looking at the A/C units and return filters and door seals). We also had an instance where the fire alarms went off suddenly during a rain storm, which was followed by a water leak that was dripping from the kitchen ceiling (noticed a wet spot on the floor in the Bedroom 3 closet due to this). But the most disappointing aspect of the stay was the cleanliness. During our stay we found alcohol and drug paraphernalia left from previous attendants. Found empty liquor bottles under the dresser in the kids room and found a weed vape pen in the couch cushions. In this Covid era we're in, this is unacceptable and luckily I discovered it before my 3 year old.All in all, I would absolutely recommend this house! (just need to address those major issues)
