Sea's Calling - Soundside Home in Kinnakeet Shores - Walk to Beach and Pool

Excellent stocked kitchen. Lovely house. Somewhat dated tv system. Needs to be connectable to internet. Underneath the house was a nice area with shower, grill. Well thought out.

This was like home away from home. Clean, warm, & relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor games. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend.

House was perfect for our family of 8. It has a great kitchen/dining/living space that was big enough for all of us to enjoy together. We enjoyed all out outdoor landings as well. The beach was an easy walk and the pool was a huge plus. We rotated between the two locations and enjoyed both very much. We had never been to the OBX and our first time was a blast. If we make a return trip, I would not hesitate to book Sea's Calling again!

We had a great stay and the house was perfect for our family. It had everything you would need inside and out and felt like home. The house is in a great location with easy access to the beach, sound, and pool. It was very infant, kid, and family friendly for our littles under 2. Would highly recommend it!

We had a nice week, despite a rainy start. The house was perfect for my three-year-old niece and well equipped with games and beach equipment. It is a short walk to the beach over a little bridge with tons of turtles (including a giant turtle we named Roland). The hot tub was a nice way to enjoy the quiet while she was napping. The beach is lovely and the OBX wildlife was out on display. You can walk to the Food Lion if you want and everything you need is a short drive. My only regret is not taking the time to stop at Buxton Books because it looks like the cutest bookshop. The owners were quick to respond when we had a minor issue and so was the maintenance company. It was handled so quickly that everything was fixed by the time we got back from a short walk.The only minor complaint we could have was that something in the house was making our party sneeze and have allergies but we took claritin and all was well. We are all very sensitive so I would guess that other vacationers would not have any problem. This was a perfect home to enjoy spending time with our niece and family. Highly recommend. Say hi to Roland for us!

We enjoyed our stay here at the sea is calling. Such a beautiful area and beach was a few blocks away. The house had everything you needed. Could have used kitchen towels but other than that, would definitely stay here again. Oh and the food lion is so close that was very convenient.

We have been staying in OBX for 5 years 2 times a year. We loved Sea's calling! It was clean and well stocked with everyday conviences.

We absolutely loved Seas Calling! A very beautiful home minutes walk from the ocean. We have a big family with 5 kids from newborn all the way up to 14 and this home had something for everyone. It was very clean and had amenities for a full family with children. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our week in Avon. The beach is a quick walk and we took advantage of the location daily. Food Lion is a mere 2 minutes away – perfect if you forgot something at the store. The community pool is large, with plenty of room for several families, and ideal for kids. The house was nicely furnished, but the best part was the mattresses. Most vacation rental homes have cheap mattresses, but these are comfy. Make sure you look for the giant snapping turtle in the water when you cross the pond bridge on the way to the beach!

Most pleasant stay, without worries. Well equipped, spacious and clean property. Ideal to accommodate a family of 7 or 8 people. To recommend!

The house was wonderful. It was clean and fully stocked. The location is great. Short walk to beach. Pool is easier to drive to. Our first trip to OBX was fantastic! We will be back!!
