Fort Bragg, California
Stay on the top floor of the Weller House's unique 4-story Water Tower and enjoy the shared rooftop deck with 360 degree views of the town and ocean. This small but cozy room boasts beautiful ocean views, a super comfy king size Flobeds mattress, and a jetted soaking tub.
*Please note that the experience of being at the tallest point in town, requires a climb up 4 flights of stairs.
The space
Located on the property of the historic Weller House, the unique 4 story water tower was rebuilt on the footprint of the original water tower that once served as the main water source for the town. From the rooftop deck, you will enjoy a 360 panoramic view of the town and the ocean. Watch the boats going by and look for whales migrating twice a year!
The room features a full ocean view, king-sized bed, jacuzzi tub, rooftop deck access, WIFI, radiant floor heating, mini-fridge, microwave, instant hot water kettle, tea, VERVE pour-over coffee, and a USB phone charging station. Check-in time is anytime after 3pm.
Guest access
We have off-street parking available for our water tower guests. While we do not currently offer an EV charging station, there are several options available nearby.
Other things to note
The water tower features four individual units, each with their own access. We ask that you are respectful of our other guests and wear a face covering on the stairs of the water tower and on the shared rooftop deck while also trying to maintain 6-feet of distance.
From the Skunk Train to Glass Beach, you can see so much of the coastline of Fort Bragg from the top of this historic water tower. Be sure to go all the way to the top for the 360-view! Be ready for four flights of stairs, but it's totally worth it. The room on the top floor is cozy and quirky. We loved it.
Definitely paying for the view and the uniqueness. The one and only sink had no cold water so washing your hands was impossible without using scalding hot water. It's a cozy and comfy place but I was disappointed by the lack of upkeep that was evident and the musty odor wasn't pleasant.
