ABOUT CAPTAIN MIKE'S SNUG HARBOR

When you step inside, you'll see why this is such a special house. The cozy living room includes a futon (which can open to sleep a guest), two armchairs, a large picture window, fireplace, TV and a small book library.

The bright and airy kitchen includes a large picture window, double sink and all major appliances. In addition, you'll find all the pots, pans and dinnerware you'll need to whip up meals for you and your guests. The dining table easily accommodates six. However, the table can be expanded to eight using a leaf that is stored in the hall closet.

There are three bedrooms in this unit. On the first floor, bedrooms include one with a queen-sized bed and one with a full-sized bed. The second-floor bedroom has a queen and a twin. A full bathroom, with tub and shower, is on the first floor, and in the basement, there is a half bath with a shower. Comfy pillows and all linens are supplied.

In the master bedroom, you will find a Pack-and-Play and a High Chair for child use.

The ocean is a short distance away - just three minutes by car, six minutes by bike, and 15 minutes by foot - with the beach accessible via Whipple Avenue or Warrenton Cannery Road. This beach offers good surf fishing, surfing, boogie boarding and swimming, although the water is cold. Wetsuits and boards can be rented at the Surf Shop in Westport. From two to four hours after high tide, there is a very nice tide pool for children whose parents don't want them in the surf. By car, the Tokeland Marina is just seven minutes south and the Westport Marina is 20 minutes north. Each has public fishing and crabbing piers.

The basement is a great place for the kids, with a 39 TV, reclining love seat, chairs, activities table, kid's toys, and even a microwave and kitchenette, where they can pop some popcorn or warm-up cocoa on a cold night.

From the expansive wrap-around deck, you can hear the relaxing sound of the surf. You can also enjoy a meal cooked on the five-burner propane grill. A round table and assorted chairs allow everyone to cheer on the cook.

The backyard is privacy fenced with an outdoor sink so that you can clean the fish, oysters and clams that you may have caught while on your trip here.

Drive an electric vehicle We have you covered at Captain Mike's. There are two 240 volt EV charging circuits, 20 amp and 50 amp, so no matter what your vehicle, you don't need to worry about where to plug in. We have a 240 volt, 20 amp circuit with a NEMA 6-20R receptacle and a 240 volt, 50 amp circuit with a NEMA 14-50R receptical waiting for you to plug in your charger. Please make sure to bring your charging cable, CABLE NOT INCLUDED.

    We had a wonderful weekend, the only thing that bothered us was the smell of the water. We bought some bottled water for drinking and enjoyed our weekend. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the labels made everything easy to find.

    The listing said 2 bathrooms. It is misleading, because you have to go outside and through 2 locked door to get to ot. Also was told e ough linens would be provided, but only 2 towels were provided. The property served it's purpose so overall not bad.

    This house is south of the town of Greyland. The neighborhood can be described as seedy at best. We did not feel safe and left half way through our reservation. The property was also not cleaned thoroughly between renters because there were crumbs/coffee on the counter when we entered. The water also had the most disgusting smell we’ve ever smelled. I couldn’t get through the shower without gagging. We left early due to the smell and concern for our safety.

    The house is located at the end of a dirt road trailer park culdesac. When we checked in the property had evidence of the last guests. The water had a foul smell. We stayed one night and checked into a hotel because the house was so disgusting. I contacted management over 2 weeks ago by phone and email and have not been contacted for a resolution. STAY AWAY!!!!!

    We had a wonderful stay at Captain Mike's Snug Harbor. The house is located close to beaches and fishing. We enjoyed the the BBQ grill, and the outside fish cleaning sink came in handy. The house was clean and cozy. We would come back.
