The laidback coastal village of Port Willunga is an idyllic year-round holiday spot and this self-contained retreat is in the perfect location for you to make the most of everything it has to offer.

Seaborne Avenue is just a stone's throw from the sandy beach a safe swimming spot popular with families and within walking distance of the stunning Star of Greece caf, which offers quality alfresco dining overlooking the ocean and is named after a 1888 shipwreck, the remains of which can still be seen on the beach today.

This affordable holiday house (downstairs only) is ideal for a couple or small family, with two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with a single and two bunks), plus a very large living area with plenty of comfy seating, a TV and DVD player.
There's a separate dining and kitchen area, reverse-cycle air-conditioning in the living dining / kitchen and ceiling fans in the bedrooms ensure you'll be comfortable whatever time of year you visit, and the huge backyard has loads of room for the kids to run around or enjoy that great Aussie holiday pastime: backyard cricket.

There's an abundance of activities and attractions within an easy drive on the Fleurieu Peninsula from swimming, surfing, fishing, snorkeling, golf and national parks, to exquisite cafes and restaurants, the popular weekly markets in the historic township of Willunga, and the world-renowned wine region of McLaren Vale.

Overall the downstairs flat was ok, lots of space. Close to the beach. Big back yard. I have however some suggestions to make. The bathroom vanity is very low and quite old, and taps don’t work well. Really needs replacing. The toilet seat does not fit properly. Shower fine. I suggest reading lamps by the beds. The kitchen set up is ok however the content of the cupboards needs a complete audit. Too much there. The old and even mouldy cutting boards are not acceptable, and the very full drawer of implements means one cannot find needed items. May I suggest a steamer insert, and lids for all saucepans. The rainwater with pump is a nice addition to the kitchen and laundry. Overall ok however room for improvement.

The house and garden are large and the location is very nice near the beach. The house is old and desperately needs a major cleaning. The kitchen is a mess as there are far too many dishes. The cooker does not work properly. We were disappointed with the cleanliness. It feels like they don't want to invest anything in the house, they just want to make money from it, which is a shame.

The property is a little dated but has everything needed and has plenty of room. Has kids beach toys, boogie boards and some beach chairs to use. Wifi is all that is really missing.
