Seabliss - Cooks Beach Holiday Home

We stayed for 5 days with family while they were over from the UK. It’s in a nice area, nice and new place. We loved using the kayaks and appreciated that they had a bbq there so we didn’t have to bring ours. They have an huge fridge which is so handy with 6 adults staying and a spare mini fridge in the garage. Also lots of space to park the boat which was a bonus. Communication with the property manager was clear and easy to follow which meant we had efficient check in and check out. Although they could make the bin collection process a bit easier to understand! We weren’t sure if we were doing it right. The price for this place was extremely high and there were a couple of points which made it not feel worth what we paid.. firstly that we didn’t find the property to be very clean. We kept finding big wads of hair floating around that definitely wasn’t ours and also milk had been left in the milk frother and gone off so it smelt terrible in the kitchen when we arrived. Also the quality of the bedding is absolutely horrendous (50% polyester!!!) so would highly recommend bringing your own bedding to ensure you have a better sleep than we did. These two points mean we probably wouldn’t stay again as it was extremely expensive and these two points were disappointing for us. With higher cost comes higher expectations!

House is fairly new, great water pressure . Not much in the way of serving spoons, salad servers tongs etc. Be aware no Wifi We missed that on the listing. Couldn’t set up badminton net as lawns very long . Great having aircon on the humid nights.
