Stayed Apr 19, 2025We had a lovely week in the cottage. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and the garden was a delight! The stunning local beach was a walk away, and other beautiful walks were a short drive. It was also very dog friendly and our dog did not want to leave!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved the area and the house. It is so well situated for a series of the best coastal walks we have ever done. They are strenuous at times but there is always a magnificent view to stop and admire while you rest. The house was warm, clean and very well equipped and a great base for this lovely area. We did find the bureaucracy around the rental a little old fashioned. Signing contracts with additional (but clearly flagged) aditional fees for electricity, bed linen, towels and cleaning took us back to French rentals 25 years ago. Communication with the owner was efficient and professional. Mrs Mottet the housekeeper was a delight. Our biggest issue was the lack of directional and joining arrangements and details provided in advance by this site or the owner. We found the house by driving up and down the village and spotting it from the photos. However, the entrance is not from the village ( where the sat nav directs you) but from the main road. Only when a helpful villager told us to return to the main road and take the track by the boat did we find it and the waiting and patient Mrs Mottat who looks after the house for the owner. Once this was all sorted we had a great stay in unseasonably brilliant weather for November and would thoroughly recommend this area for walkers and lovers of winter peace and solitude.

Stayed May 19, 2018The House ist absolutly beautiful and cosy, wonderful decorated and practical. All technical Equipment (Kitchen, Heating, etc.) is modern and perfect. It is about 1,5 km to one of the most beautiful beaches and we also did some nice hiking tours along the cost. Mdme Mottete who took care of the handover etc. did a great Job, she also gave us some very helpful Information, where to go, which crepperie, where to buy fish.... Thank you so much.
