Sea view holiday home

Fantastic house and location. Our host Carlos and his mother Angela were just fabulous in their support providing fruits and vegetables as well as advice on many things. Also great was the owner of the restaurant across the street Ilidio. What nice people! We will definitely come back. The house is a bit difficult to find the first time around but with a GPS it is possible. We sort of got lost on arrival, called Carlos and he came to fetch us at a roundabout, that is good service. Thank you Carlos and Angela.

Spacious, modern, very well equiped and clean property. Has the added benefit of a gym room with weight machine, offroad gated parking, flat roof terrace and nicely landscaped outside area. Quiet neighbourhood. Has all conveniences for independent stay: wifi, tv with plenty of channels, cooker, washing machine, fridge, crockery. Lovely views towards the ocean. Cafe/restaurant/shop across the road. A bigger one 2 minutes drive away, even bigger in Calheta beach front about 10 minutes away. Superb reataurant in Prazeres 10 min away. Quick access to the main road towards Funchal. Carlos and his mom were very friendly and contactable at all times. Great communication in english. We were even provided some fresh free range eggs. All in all very satsfied with the house which exceeded my expectations. Note: Due to technical issues of which the host is aware but cannot resolve, the house is not shown properly in homeaway map. Its location is: 32.738602,-17.193838. It still does not show on google map but can be seen on bing maps.

Great house and hosts. Carlos and his Mom were readily accessible and welcoming. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay in Madeira.

We loved this house. It was well appointed with everything you might need and enough room for the whole family. The ocean views were amazing. The neighbourhood was peaceful and lovely to walk around. Carlos and his mom treated us like family. The store across the street made self-catering easy. We stayed a month and easily could have stayed longer. The only thing is walking around is very steep but that is just the way it is on the island of Madeira.

Spent 3 weeks. Loved every minute of it. We are a family of 5 and had an awesome Holiday. So good when you can stay in a lovely house with beautiful surrondings. Also very friendly and affordable restaurant very close by. I would strongly recommend this property if you are visting Madeira. And calheta is by far our favourite location. Stood in this property for 17 days. Enjoyed every bit of it, close to beach, everything you need is available at the property. Owners are very friendly. Mrs. Angela (Carlos mom ) always bringing fruit for us. Highly recommended. You won't regret. House is big and very spacious

Me and my group had such a wonderful time in Calheta and the place was simply amazing. Every morning when you get up you can enjoy the beautiful view and the nature around there. The house was so beautiful and fully equipped to receive people with disabilities. The owners were very kind and always available for any inconvenient. You also have a small shop and restaurant in front of the house and the beach is only 15 minutes by car. I fully recommend this place and house, indeed you will have an unforgettable time with family and friends!
