We were met at the property by Gwen, who only spoke French, but as I did too, that was fine. She showed us around and was very helpful. The cottage had everything we needed except towels which I had forgotten about, so we had to buy some! It was a bit quirky, with part of the main bedroom given over to a shower and sink, but we tended to use the other one downstairs, which was fine. The property has a lovely garden at the back which is quite secluded, with an area for sitting out and a BBQ. There is also a parking bay by the side of the house, which was very handy. The coastal views on the way downhill to the village are breathtaking. There are lots of beautiful walks along the coast, easily accessed from the house. It is the most beautiful and interesting (geologically) coastline and unlike anything I have seen before (in UK)We seem to have arrived in this part of Brittany before the tourist season was in full swing, so lots of places were still closed, but that didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves. Our host, Sebastian, met us on the day of our departure and was charming. We had a great week exploring the north coast from this comfortable cottage - even though the weather was rather colder and windier than we had expected!

This gite has been tastefully decorated and equipped, everything you need for a week by the sea, the area is well located near Paimpol and the Granite Coast, we were met by the very friendly Owners who welcomed us into their gite as if it was our home, didn't want to leave, only downside was the weather and no one can change that. We would have no hesitation to return to this gite if in the area again. Thank you very much for a lovely week.
