Sea Spray Beach House on the Ocean in South Ponte Vedra

Great location with beautiful sunrises from inside or the deck or on the beach. Close enough to stores and sites but secluded from crowded beaches. The nature preserve across the street was a great place to hike and explore. House has some nice updates and lots of windows

This was our second stay at the Sea Spray and we absolutely love it! The house is comfortable, nicely decorated and well-equipped! We enjoyed grilling on the deck with a beautiful view! Communication was terrific. We cannot wait to return!

It was our second year in a row staying at Sea Spray, it does not disappoint. Everything was perfect, the view, the beach, the home, and the hosts are fantastic. We're already planning our trip back next year.

Beach was awesome for us and our kids. Was the perfect getaway for us, loved the private feel. Definitely recommend and we hope to return!!

Everything was ok, the property is pretty far from everything and getting out of the driveway is really scary. The road is pretty busy and dark and there a quite a few blind spots. House was decently clean and stocked. There was a bit of mold on the ceilings and a few things not cleaned well (bathtub ejected black gunk when using jets?) but overall nothing too crazy. They had board games and dvds for the kids which was a win for us because we had 0 cell service (ATT). Beach was very nice and super private. Lots of beach toys and chairs which were all kept nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great host, great home, well furnished, very clean, great beach vibe. Close to St. Augustine, easy to get there and around, really good restaurants also. Sea Spray was a great choice and highly recommend!

Love this location - this is our second time staying - even though it is more space than my husband and myself need - it is beautiful. Only concern is how close it is to A1A. But my husband is an amazing driver so I guess I shouldn’t be concerned with that.The house itself is very clean and well kept. The master bed was comfortable we did not use the 2 full beds in the other bedroom. There is a shower and foot wash on the gazebo which is wonderful after a day walking the beach

House and host amazing. Spectacular views- parking was tricky. Coming from PVB driving south hard to see house until you are right on top of it. Very limited parking otherwise A rating.

Host was very welcoming. House was neat and clean. Great views from deck. Recommend that closet with hangars be made available. Closet in front room is not adequate

We need a vacation from our vacation. The house produces a loud fog horn sound when there’s wind (the entire time we were there, 6 days). Along with the noise from speeding cars and trucks on the road right outside 2 bedroom windows (nearly all night long) made for very tired and cranky people. Who ever was responsible for cleaning and maintaining this property for rentals was obviously absent. Several minor annoyances; filthy-smoking oven, empty soda cans in drawers, broken stove handles, broken shower head, leaking door frame, leaking bar sink, used bed linens left in the closet and more all added up to a very disappointing stay! We def won’t be back to Sea Spray BH.

Awesome property. The only problem we had is we wanted to use the grill and it literally crumbled when we tried to take the cover off. We called the person that was listed in the book and left a message and never got a return call. Other than that the property is awesome just as described and if I decide to come back to FL I would definitely book it again.

Horrible experience with this property and property manager. Home was left uncleaned, roach found within the refrigerator, bugs found FROZEN within the freezer, clear it’s been there for a while. TV was broken in the master to the point it turned on where you could hear it but only a black screen displayed. Shower cleaning scrub left in the area where our soap and shampoo was expected to be used. The explanation given for why the property was left in poor condition was non-existent. Would recommend you not stay here! Plenty of other properties in much better condition.

This property was well appointed, and worked perfectly for 5 adults. We like a property that is all on one living level, and this property is just that. We have stayed at PV Beach 11 times in the past 17 years, and this property is definitely one of the best that we have experienced! The property manager was responsive and complete with any requests or clarifications we needed.We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved the Sea Spray Beach House! The location is exactly what we were looking for - quiet, calm, and scenic. The house had everything we needed and was well laid out. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful view of ocean from house. Wonderful deck, and gazebo . Very comfortable.

We were very impressed with this property. Sea Spray had everything we needed and plenty of space for the family to enjoy time together. I loved the extra details and care that was taken to ensure we had a wonderful time. Beach chairs, umbrellas, amble seating on the deck, and even recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. We will definitely choose this home again the next time we visit the area.

Nice stay directly on the beach!

Perfect location and exactly as I had hoped. Four friends reconnecting and feeling the healing power of the sunrises and the ocean air. Two daughters were able to join us our last day and night which was lovely. Went to aunt Kate’s for lunch on Friday and beat the rush and had a very nice meal with a super sweet waitress. This home lacks nothing. Fully stocked kitchen, an extra refrigerator if needed for a longer stay, plenty of bath and kitchen towels, beach, chairs, beach towels,.Cute ocean and seaside decor everywhere. Plenty of seating on the porch with the attached covered sitting area and faucet/shower at the bottom of the stairs. Just a short walk to the beach was perfect. The weather was perfect. Would loved to stay for many more days if time, obligations, and money would have allowed. If I had to report anything unpleasant it would be the pesky knats or “no see ums” our time on the porch would be at short intervals because of that, certainly not a dealbreaker. Would definitely consider this home again.

We had a fantastic time staying at Sea Spray Beach House! It has everything you need for your stay. Gorgeous sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the marsh. Highly recommend this property.

This was our second year spending the week in Ponte Vedra Beach. The house was perfect, we’re seriously already looking at rebooking it next March.

We had a fantastic time at this oceanfront property in Ponte Vedra. The location is unbeatable, being so close to Vilano and St. Augustine, and having the beach right outside your door is a huge plus. We even saw dolphins right from the shore, which was a lovely surprise!The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of towels, and the beds were very comfy, making it easy to relax after a day in the sun. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials for cooking.The beach chairs in the garage were a nice touch – definitely check those out. However, the chairs near the oceanfront locker were broken, so be aware of that. There was no propane during our stay for the grill, but the host was made aware and offered options to replenish.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway with easy access to local attractions.

First of all, this is a beautiful home with many amenities. It sits right on the beach which is exactly what we wanted. There were a few problems, however. A couple of the issues could not be helped by the PM or owner. For instance, the house next door was undergoing major construction. That meant that a crew was there every day hammering and sawing. The noise was annoying but the biggest issue was that the master bath had large windows facing that house and all the crew. The windows had no coverings!! It looks like there were blinds in the windows and all but one fell down. There was nothing there for us to cover the windows. I have a photo with one of the guys looking in the window at me. The other issue that couldn't be helped by the PM or owner is that the house is on a VERY busy road. We had no idea when we booked. We had road noise (55MPH speed limit) all day! That's also not very relaxing. We had issues with the coffee pot and it was fixed before the next day. Possibly, the window coverings will be fixed before the next people book it, so that might not be an issue. But you need to know, the road is very busy. The setting is not peaceful. Our best outings were to the Guana River area which is just down the road. We hiked to the Intercostal and it was beautiful! Also, an absolute must is Caps on the Water. Best restaurant experience we've ever had. (Thanks to the PM for the recommendation).

Loved everything about this place! Waking to the sunrise over the Atlantic, eating dinner during the sunset in massive windows, everything we needed supplied and amazing communication with host. If I find myself back in the area I will definitely be booking this wonderful home again!

One of my favorite stays of all time. Loved the location, super clean and comfortable. Only negative is driveway but all houses in this area have the same problem - it pulls straight out onto A1A with a 50MPH speed limit - we find it was best to pull over in front of house then back in when there was a break in traffic - never try to back out! All around amazing stay and would love to go back

My husband and I had a wonderful time and the house is very nice and well stocked. There wasn't one thing we needed (other than groceries) that wasn't supplied. Even the started supply of paper products and dish soap/detergent lasted the whole trip. It is a little difficult getting in and out of the driveway but it's doable. Would consider staying here again if we're ever back in the area.

Thx so much for sharing your beautiful home with our family. This was our 9th yr vacationing on Ponte Vedra and we’re in agreement that it was our favorite. Your home had every convenience we could ask for and all in good working order. The extra fridge was esp nice since there were 5 extra hungry kids to feed coming off the beach. We brought the kids boogie boards and rented surf boards so we didn’t often go off property. If it’s available, we’ll def be renting next year!

We had a 5 Star experience. Kat and the team really made us feel at home in this Beach Paradise. We will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing property in the near future.

We had an amazing week at Sea Spray Beach House. We love the location, the house is nicely renovated and it has a great deck and cabana area overlooking the beach. It worked great for our family of four, and we hope to make it back soon!
