• Where is the nearest sandy beach for swimming While the home sits on a rocky bluff, a 5-minute walk south leads you to the shoreline of Bird Rock Surf Spot and Pacific Beach just beyond. La Jolla Cove, and Windansea Beach are just a 3-to-5 minute drive north.

• Is the home accessible for those who prefer to avoid stairs Yes, this is a rare, single-level luxury home with no stairs to navigate throughout the entire living area and bedrooms.

• Can I walk to local restaurants and shops from Bird Rock Absolutely. It is a short walk to the charming shops, restaurants, wine bars, and coffee houses within the Bird Rock neighborhood.

• What is your policy on noise and parties No more than 4 additional guests are allowed until 10:00pm. The City of San Diego’s Short-Term Rental Ordinance is strictly enforced. Parties or noise disturbances will result in a minimum $1,000 fine and immediate eviction with no refunds.

• What are the check-in and check-out times Standard check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. To ensure the home is properly cleaned and sanitized, we cannot accommodate early arrivals or late departures if another guest is scheduled for the same day.

• Is Sea Glass pet-friendly To maintain the home’s pristine finishes, pets are not permitted. This makes the property a possible choice for guests who may have allergies. However, in accordance with ADA requirements, we accept Service Animals (specifically trained to perform tasks for a disability). We request advanced notice so we can prepare the home accordingly.

    We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The views are amazing and never get old. The house is very clean and is in great condition as it has been kept up well. Management was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us...even when our car battery died. The location is perfect. Just a short drive to downtown La Jolla, but also in walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Birdrock. We look forward to returning!

    This place is designed to WOW and it does not disappoint! It is expensive, but totally worth it. Style and comfort merge with premium and luxury in this property. There was plenty of room for 6 adults in 3 bedrooms and 3 full, en suite baths. The additional half-bath was another welcome feature. If I had to summarize this experience in one word, it would be premium. From design to space to surfaces to appliances to fixtures to furnishings, there is nothing lacking. Treat yourself, and enjoy!

    The good: The house is beautiful and in a perfect location. It is recently remodeled and beautifully furnished. Check in is super easy and the management team was largely easy to reach. The bad: There are a few maintenance issues that I would not expect in a property of this price or quality. The spa was dirty, with sand and debris at the bottom and an odor to the water. I was told it was cleaned weekly but I am not sure this had been done (well) recently. I called the management team and they had someone clean it. There was a planned power outage during our stay of which we were not informed. We were in San Diego for a medical procedure and to not be able to adequately tend to my wife post-operatively due to a planned outage on the day of the surgery was unacceptable. Had I known about the outage I honestly would have cancelled. I told the team and they did offer us a small discount on our stay. The air conditioning went out during our stay. I left messages with the team which went unanswered. I finally texted a photo to the team of the interior temperature of the house (89 degrees) to which they ultimately did respond. They were unable to repair the unit and we went without air conditioning for 2 days of our stay. The maintenance crew said I could expect a call back from the manager and likely another discount on my stay. I was never called. I left messages for Amy but she never called me back.

    My family truly enjoyed our stay here. It has everything you could possibly want and is much more open and spacious than the square footage would lead you to believe. Property management was prompt and efficient with any questions we had. 10/10 stay!

    The home is very clean -immaculate - and the view is as depicted online - simply perfect. Our family enjoyed an incredibly relaxed visit.
