Stayed Nov 24, 2025This was our first time staying at this beach home and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We truly had the most amazing and comfortable stay. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating and the house had everything we needed. The temperatures of the home were also very comfortable and we really appreciated the ease of use of the home and the extra linens provided. Check in and out procedures were easy to follow and last but not least, you can’t beat the location or views. You’re steps from the beach which is not crowded, minutes from Jacksonville or St Augustine which has lots to do. We really enjoyed the beach along with the surrounding nature and wildlife. Truly made for a wonderful family vacation that was very relaxing. Thank you for such an amazing stay.

Stayed Jun 8, 2025We arrived after dark. House was exactly as described. There is a king master bedroom upstairs includes a bathroom. 2 other bedrooms upstairs are a queen with very little storage spaces. And 2 twin beds in one room with plenty of storage. The queen room and twin beds room share a bathroom. Kitchen was adequate. Shampoo and conditioner and body wash supplied (and actually very nice). Plenty of paper towels, TP, dish soap And laundry detergent to get started. The front porch was the PERFECT place to sit and watch the sunrise. We saw dolphins most mornings. SEA TURTLES laid eggs while we were there (# 61 laid on June 11). Due to hatch and go to sea in 45-60 days. We left a blow up pool in the basement. Worked WONDERS on the deck for the babies. The grassy seating area in front of the house is not to be cut anymore to help prevent possible erosion. Did not use grill. Nice that any food that is unopened it’s taken to a local food pantry by the housekeepers. The only complaint that I have is that the master bedroom mattress is WAY TOO SOFT for me. So I slept in one of the twins.

Stayed Nov 7, 2024The property is at a wonderful location right on the beach. Not too far from St. Augustine and other nearby restaurants in Villano. Check in process was very smooth and host is very responsive.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024loved loved loved our stay here. the house was exactly like the pictures and was so well equipped with anything you could possibly need. It was situated so close to the ocean - the views were so beautiful. The management company was very responsive to our needs. Will definitely repeat but stay longer next time!

Stayed Sep 14, 2024Let me begin with we normally don't have high demands of the places we stay because we don't stay in the house much. This time our requirements were: beach front, dog friendly and sleeps 5 (3 adults and 2 man child boys). This place was reasonable and fit all these demands. The view was wonderful with just steps to the beach and exactly what I was looking for as my husband needed to work this week. Now the cons: On arrival, the door took some time to open which was warned in the instructions. Upon entry, the house smelled and required the use of candles and/or Febreze to help with the old and musky smells. It definitely needed some TLC and did not look like a VRBO which is owned by a family but by a corporation. The curtains were thin and looked to be purchased at a Goodwill. There was a hole where the tile and sheetrock meet in the master bath. The kitchen sink needed to be replaced at the spray nozzle. None of the exterior doors worked correctly, requiring the bolt lock to be engaged for the door to stay latched shut. The biggest end to the week was when heavy rains at the end of the stay flooded the room added on at the main level. Management was called and was willing to come out but our son sleeping in that room had already cleaned things up and it just needed to dry. It left us wishing that VRBO had a way to filter properties by those owned and operated by a family as opposed to those that were picked up by real estate investment firms just looking to make a buck.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024The good: Location is wonderful. 15 mins from the downtown area and San Marcos castle with lots of things to do. The ocean view is amazing and you can’t beat a house on the sand. We enjoyed our stay very much. Beds are good and the upstairs was clean and comfortable and no bugs or others found at the property, I would stay here again with different expectations. The bad: You should only consider this a 3 room property. The 4th room is downstairs with no sink (even though it is shown in one the pictures) The toilet downstairs is inside the laundry room with no air conditioning and at night, I would expect bugs to be running around in no time. If you don’t mind staying in a “rough around the edges” room with no bathroom and mildly loud window air conditioning unit, then the 4th room would be good for you. Minor/inexpensive issues should be addressed. Handle and lock mechanism in the living room door to the porche is rusted shut. Kitchen faucet is loose. Chairs in the living room should at least match. (Either all foldable black or all white) but not half and half. A/c Vent on the floor should really be secured with bolts. We travelled with kids and one of them lifted it open, it was a bit scary imagining what would happen if someone were to fall in. This property is managed by a big company that owns a lot of other properties. So don’t expect early check in or check out. Overall the house is great if you know what to expect.

Stayed May 23, 2024Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. We were a group of friends that all agreed the location was fabulous, a beach front house on a very less traveled beach area which was lovely. Even on a holiday weekend, we were amazed how empty the beach was, felt private! The inside was nice and clean. A few things that needs attention- door locks need replaced especially the beach front deck one. Really nice large table that sits 8 but several of the chairs were extremely wobbly and need fixed. Nicely stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Loved the outdoor shower. The two things that we struggled with was communication prior to arrival and the rental agreement. No responses to questions in the Vrbo app. Had to call the management company directly prior to arrival after multiple attempts. Felt like the rental agreement was very aggressive and non guest friendly. Luckily we had no issues that would have caused any issues due to the agreement. Outside of that we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Sep 20, 2023I booked this home because it was beachfront, close to town, pet friendly, and spacious. The home was very clean inside and very well stocked, including grill, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The sunrises were spectacular as we sat on the deck or walked on the nearly empty beach. We enjoyed the warm water and sandy beach. Proximity to St. Augustine was a plus - only 15 minutes to downtown. We took a trolley tour, enjoyed a dolphin cruise, and spent time walking around the historic areas. A Publix grocery store is only about 8 minutes away and was convenient for groceries and other needs. Upon our arrival there were a few issues with some door locks, the outdoor shower, and a severely overgrown beach path and sitting area. However, the manager was very responsive and took care of it ASAP. Any calls to the manager were always quickly answered. My only issue was multiple little things that needed fixing/attention. We fully realize that sometimes things just happen. However, it seems these should have been caught before our arrival, particularly the condition of the yard. I won't list all of the issues, some safety related, most were minor, but it was a detraction from an otherwise amazing 5 days. I'm sure mgt would have fixed them all, but we really didn't want strangers in the home while we were trying to relax. I provided a list to them upon checkout. Parking is tight and backing out onto 55 mph A1A can be scary! I would stay here again - just hope it gets some TLC.

Stayed May 24, 2023While the inside was somewhat clean, however the ants in the kitchen were not acceptable. The outside was a total corroded mess, everything is covered in rust.
