Sea-Chelles Near The Beach

House was close to beach and town. Was nice and cosy. Is pet friendly, communication with owners was quick.

The extended family and the dog were able to stay. The young ones even enjoyed the pool despite rainy weather.We enjoyed walking to the beach and the shops

The house was excellent and extremely clean. Everything possible was supplied. It was close to the beach and pet friendly. We cannot fault it. We thoroughly recommend it for a very relaxing stay.

We all enjoyed our stay and would be keen to return. It is an old house showing its age. This did not impact on the quality of our stay as the owner provided everything needed for a comfortable and convenient 4 nights. The deck, at the rear of the property overlooking the pool and pastures behind, is the stand out feature. You could be miles from anywhere. But you are a short walk from the beach and within walking distance of the shops ,cafes, hotel and the patrolled beach. However, some may prefer the short drive to the shops etc.

Our stay was very nice and we even got to see the cows on the property behind, pet friendly and secure yard, clean pool, beach just up the street a little and cudgen Creek 5 minute drive with clear blue water for swimming or fishing. Hust was great and always responded fast. Looking forward to staying there again.

No. 56 Kingscliff Street (Sea-chelles) is a very pleasant, older-style home, well furnished, well maintained, and spotlessly clean. We liked it within minutes of entering and enjoyed our 7-day stay. We also made good use of the pool, again clean and well looked after.There is a large veranda with plenty of seating, and good views of the pool, garden (also well maintained), and the fields beyond.The house is just a few minutes' drive from a shopping centre, which has a Woolworths, liquor store with a good selection of wines, and several other shops.I had the pleasure of meeting Phil and Michelle when we arrived, as they were preparing the house and garden themselves; a very pleasant couple, who clearly went that extra step to ensure that their guests had all they needed to make their stay a good one.Next time we visit Kingscliff, we hope that we can stay at No. 56 again.

Needs another tv, and more appliances in kitchen for cooking, shower screen needs to be fixed as it does not slide

Location close to beach and pool was great. House a little tired

Our host was very helpful and friendly.We loved the open outlook. From the huge deck you had uninterrupted views. The fencing was secure, and our two small dogs enjoyed running free.

This is a great short stay house. The house comes with everything you need and is set in pleasant surrounds. The back deck is spacious and looks out on to farming land. One block walk to Kingscliff beach! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved the house, had character, was very spacious and clean with great outside areas and a lovely country view out the back. Close to the beach and walking distance to shops and cafes. Host was welcoming and informative and access into the house was easy, the host also very kindly allowed a later check out as no one else needed to check in that day. Had a wonderful holiday!!

Clean, tidy and in an amazing location. Great accommodation if travelling with pets, and short walk to the beach and shops. Also not too far to travel to Theme Parks.

We loved the house and its location. We enjoyed afternoon cuppas on the deck overlooking the kids in the pool.

Another great stay in Kingscliff

Located close to the beach and a nice stroll to cafes and restaurants. House contained all that was required for a pleasant stay. Bonus, we could bring our dog as well.

The location was perfect for us walking distance to beach and local cafes and restaurants. We loved using the pizza oven one of the nights too. The place is an old beach shack so felt like a comfortable lived in house. The house did smell like a previous guests dog had had an accident. We couldn’t find where the smell was coming from. Maybe removing the soft furnishings would help like the rug and chair near front door. Phil was very easy to communicate with during the whole process.

Had a great time during our Kingscliff stay. Great location for easy access to beach and beautiful paved walking tracks to the centre of town or short drive to shopping centre. House is practical for families with ample space for socialising, convenience of a second toilet and fully equipped kitchen. Was great for what we needed. Minimal stairs to navigate which was suitable for our travel party with mobility restrictions however there were some challenges in bathroom with minimal grab railsEtc. Otherwise was clean and today and homely.

A lovely home close to the beach and perfect for relaxing.Being dog friendly made it even better.

We had a fantastic time staying here for our Easter holiday. It was exactly as described. We loved the deck and pool area. Not far over to the beach. It was very quiet too.

We enjoyed our stay. It is an older style house and we had plenty of room. A short walk to the foreshore which was great for us and the dog. The thing that let the property down was a lack of maintenance and cleaning. Generally it was clean but all those extra things like cleaning windows, replacing broken or damaged kitchen appliances werent.g damaged cooking broken

Had three nights at this great pet friendly house with our beagle Maverick. The house, back deck and yard were perfect for us and the beach was only a very short walk away. Great location as we easily walked up the beach into Kingscliff for coffee and breakfast then walked back to our house. We highly recommend this place.

This is the first time we've stayed here and everything was exactly as described online. The place had everything we needed including air conditioned bedrooms, the kids loved playing in the pool. Very easy check in/out. We loved how close to the beach it was.

Our stay at this property was thoroughly enjoyable and ever so relaxing. The inside; lounge area spacious and very comfortable, kitchen area had everything we needed, bedroom air conditioned, great size and bed was wonderfully comfortable. The back outdoor area was a very easy place to just chill. The added extra bonus was the pool; very clean and very private. Would definitely stay again.

Great location one street from the beach. A few things let the house down - back steps need replacing, pool could have been a bit cleaner as there was dirt on the floor. It definitely could use a drier as we had a number of days with some very heavy rain where the whole back deck got wet. The place needs fumigating as there were a number of cockroaches including in the wardrobe. The house is an older house but plenty of room. Nice sitting out on the deck on the couple of days we could use it. Unfortunately didn’t get to use the pool due to weather and not being 100% clean. Great that I could bring my dog.
