Schweitzer Mountain getaway with a private hot tub & easy ski slope access

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! The setting was semi-private, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The property was thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities we could possibly need, and there was plenty of space for our group of six (2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 children). The kids especially loved the loft area, and we all enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub. Our only (very minor) complaint was the heat—it did get quite warm inside, even with the fans running, but that’s to be expected in the middle of summer. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return!

Great location

Great place, clean and has everything you need. We got lucky and had so much privacy. I could see the hot tub being a bit less so if the neighbors were around. The only thing that gave us trouble was trying to stream on the TV.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s was good size and well equipped. We enjoyed playing games in the evening. We used the shuttle service some but also had an awd suv so we drove ourselves. You definitely need an awd to stay here in the winter. Our only complaint was that we were a bit early for the snow and only one run was open at the resort, but we had fun anyway!

Easy access to Schweitzer and to Sandpoint. The kitchen is really well stocked (including a milk frother) but no coffee provided and a twenty minute drive to buy some. The loft provided sleeping for one but was fry your brain hot and the futon was pretty awful. The rest of the bedrooms were fine. Access is via a really tight circular staircase so this rental is a no go for folks with mobility issues. The hot tub is marvelous with amazing views. There was nowhere to put trash and it’s bear country so we had to just leave it inside when we left….. we felt badly about that. Would definitely rent this half of a twin home again.

Overall the stay was enjoyable but rather expensive for 2 nights. Hot tub was nice but was not usable first night due to refilling. Plowing is not the best, but there was a lot of snow. It would have been a long walk to the lifts, really need to drive. Didn't notice any busses running locally. Picture appears to be by itself but it is packed in with other places. Bonus - it now has WiFi and a TV.

Hot tub didn’t work, even though it’s in the listing name and we paid luxury prices just to have it.Worse than that was how we were treated by support when we raised the complaint. We expected reasonable acknowledgement, but instead we received barely any acknowledgement along with an insultingly small discount - for something that was a major issue for us. Worse, when we protested it, they dropped the discount by nearly half in apparent retaliation.We were afraid to seek any more support for fear of getting docked further, even though there were other issues including remotes that don’t work and fireplace that we couldn’t turn on. We tried to contact management directly to have a conversation but they forced us to only talk to a chat interface, no phone allowed.Vacasa is a business so it’s probably related to that, but I wouldn’t expect much hospitality beyond a working bed.

This house was just the perfect place us and the dogs. It had all of the amenities that we wanted. It was just a short drive to the ski base.

This is a great cozy place with lots of nice space and views. Offered some constructive feedback to make our stay and stays of others more comfortable.

Home away from home! Cute, Cozy & Comfortable. Just a 4 minute drive to the mountains upper parking lot but quiet & secluded. Highly recommend staying here.
