Schlitz Castle: Huge 5BR/4BA Sleeps 12 w/ Double Kitchens & Living Rooms

The Schlitz Castle provided a home base for 4 days and 3 nights of family adventures. Having rented multiple VRBO properties from coast to coast and throughout the Midwest, my family agrees that this was the best property yet. The layout fit our three-generation family of seven (2 seniors 3 adult children 2 grandchildren) to a tee. The 1st floor family room was perfect for family movie night. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds were comfortable. The cabinets were incredibly stocked. The host was very responsive. Thanks, Kyle.

It was a big beautiful home

This was a great rental unit. There was plenty of room to spread out, with 2 separate kitchens and 2 separate family rooms. The bedrooms were comfortable and everyone enjoyed the place. We will definitely rent this again the next time we're looking for a place near Milwaukee.

Overall, we votes as a family and this trip was one of our favorite stays! Kyle's communication from the start was on point! The Schlitz Castle is a two flat that gives everyone their own space- while also feeling like a very large single family. This home is also one of the most well appointed & generous on so many levels. My 17 yr old said this would be the house he’d stay at if there was a zombie apocalypse! No detail is left- the kitchen is fully stocked- including seasonings and the typical things you’d run out to the store for. Coffee, tea and mixers were ample! And there was a “just in case” basket of all the things travelers tend to forget. Kyle left us a welcome basket of snacks and goodies- simply thoughtful and such wonderful treatment.The Schlitz Castle made sure to make everyone feel as if we were truly at home away from home!

Clean, comfortable home - well stocked & modern.

Communication with host was on point and checking in was quite easy. Free parking with lots of space. Tons of room for hanging out both upstairs and downstairs. Highly recommend

Great place for the entire crew. Beautiful spot across from park, great access to our son’s wedding in Bayview and a great house. Owner Kyle was amazing and very accomodating.

There were 12 of us, all ages, here for 4 nights. The area is walking distance to a park and easy access to anywhere in Milwaukee. Kyle was very helpful and responsive. A terrific host. There was an amazing amount of food, wine, and personal care items available for use. I did not read the description carefully enough to realize that 2 beds were on the couches. Also, there is an extra host fee for more than 8 people even though it sleeps 12. All in all, there are few places like this in Milwaukee and I would highly recommend it. Thank you, Kyle

Everything was perfect. Kyle is a gracious and thoughtful host, with all sorts of unexpected touches. Quick, complete, and professional communication. The house was perfect for 8 women celebrating a 60th birthday. Everyone wished we could stay another night!
