We thoroughly enjoyed our family time together at Stargazer! We enjoyed a relaxing football Saturday followed by a cookout and evening at the fire pit! A walk around the neighborhood hills was fun with the dogs. Thank you for welcoming them on your picture board! This weekend getaway was the escape we needed!

Out family enjoyed several days at the Stargazer Hideaway over the 4th of July. The home easily accommodated our family of 6 with room to spare. All of the beds were very comfortable. It is unusual to find a home with a bathroom for each bedroom. There is even a half bath downstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. Everything was labeled which meant no guessing about what goes where or which switch for which light. I functioned at the hideaway as easy as I do in my own home. The fire pit was a fun time for late nights - even in July! The neighborhood is very beautiful and safe. We enjoyed tranquil morning walks with our pets. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely rent again for our next mountain getaway!

Stargazer Hideaway is the perfect place to get away!! This is our 3rd stay for our annual girls' trip. It has an open floor plan with a lot of room in the kitchen and den areas to gather. The kitchen is very well-stocked to make and serve meals. Everything is well labeled which keeps things neat and organized. There are even extras like coffees and creamers available. With each bedroom having its own bathroom, there is plenty of space to get ready without crowding. The house is very clean and everything is in good condition. There is a notebook provided with helpful information about any questions that might arise. It also includes recommendations of nearby restaurants and activities. There is a selection of games available to play. We also noticed a corn hole game for outside fun. (Maybe next time! ) Cherylen is an excellent host. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your experience is positive! We can't wait to book again. We are even thinking of two trips a year because we love it so much!

This is my second time staying at Stargazer Hideaway! Love this house. Just enough room for my friends and me. The house is super comfortable and the location is great! I highly recommended.

Stargazer Hideaway was the perfect spot for a getaway. The house is extremely clean, the view from the family room windows is beautiful, the location is close to falls, wineries, restaurants, apple orchard, rafting and lots more. Don’t miss Southeastern Adventures rafting trip or The Edge Cafe and Bar at Tallulah Adventures. It’s a great outdoor cafe with good food, drinks and rock climbing wall, corn hole and other activities. The 2 bedrooms upstairs have their own bathrooms as well as the en-suite master downstairs. We enjoyed the grill and fire pit area in the evenings. The small fenced in area in back was perfect for our dog to run freely and the doggie door inside the house makes it a breeze to let your dog out if you want to stay in! The communication with the owner is easy and immediate if needed. She honestly has thought of everything and is so welcoming and accommodating! We highly recommend booking a stay and hope to be back soon!

We were not your typical guests at Stargazer Hideaway, as I and my bosses were in town for business, but from the moment we arrived, it was like you dropped in at a friend’s house for a visit. Since I expected it to be a stressful week with our trial, I wanted somewhere that would be relaxing in the evenings (especially since I knew we’d have late nights preparing for the next day). This was perfect. The house provided plenty of work space for us to spread out and a wonderfully cozy home away from our ‘home base’. Sitting on the covered patio listening to the mountain ‘music’ was the perfect way to end the day. Cherylen was a fantastic host and very responsive when we had questions.

We were in town for a wedding and the house was perfect for us. Owners communicated well and were very welcoming. Loved our stay.

This was a fantastic home! It was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved the close proximity to Clayton and the many hiking trails nearby. We would definitely recommend this home for a fun getaway!

Stayed at Stargazer Hideaway for a couple nights. The house was very clean, organized, and exactly as described. The fenced yard was a great space to take our dog off his leash, and the neighborhood road was a nice loop for leashed walks. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Clayton area.

The home was extremely clean, very organized and beautiful. It was a wonderful place to stay at night while my son had wedding festivities going on at Chota Falls. If I ever find myself in Clayton Georgia again, I would definitely stay there.

My family of 6 plus two goldendoodles had the best time! We explored Clayton, Highlands, Lake Burton and Bryson. The location is absolutely perfect. So much to see and do we could have stayed longer! Perfect fenced in yard for our doggies. We went white water rafting, zip lining, lake day, hiking, and ate so much good food! The house is so clean and has everything you need. Every night we made s’mores at the fire pit. It was a dream. The host are very responsive to any questions we had. We’ll be back for sure!

This cabin is so special. Such privacy and serenity - it makes you feel that there is no one around for miles, but in reality, there are houses relatively close by. You just can't see any other houses and they can't see you. The owners are the most delightful, helpful, responsive people, the house is so well equipped, the couch and the beds are so comfortable, and everything is so clean. Everything is labeled so there is no guess-work. We were here last year and enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back again. Lots to see and do in the area.
