Our family has owned this lovely A-Frame home for many years and it has been our personal retreat. There are lots of good memories here, and we love the relaxing, peaceful feeling we get when we arrive. We leave the rest of the world behind for a while as we enjoy the spectacular view from the gazebo and the cozy atmosphere of the great room. We are looking forward to sharing this experience with you. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park,Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

The classic clean lined architecture of this home is charming. We love the open living space that leads to the kitchen with the balcony above. On the main floor you will find a pair of guest bedrooms just beyond the well appointed kitchen. The first has a full bed with a cozy private feeling. The other has a twin bed with whimsical wall decorations that kids will love. Head upstairs to the master suite, featuring a king bed and a half bath. There is plenty of room to relax indoors on both levels, with comfy seating on the main level and the upper level balcony. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and we love the country decor that includes the antique pie safe as its centerpiece.

Head outside to grill on the deck, enjoy the fire pit and visit the gazebo where you can enjoy the mountain views that give Scenic Site Lane its name. You can hike along the gravel road and explore the area.

The home is located in Pisgah Forest, which is just beside the City of Brevard. From here you can easily reach DuPont State Forest which features beautiful waterfalls, miles of great hiking and biking trails and is the location where many scenes of the first Hunger Games film were shot. You can also visit Pisgah National Forest for more waterfalls, hiking, mountain biking and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway which features spectacular views and scenic driving. Be sure to check out the appropriately named Gorges State Park, another amazing reserve which is truly gorgeous. You are in the heart of fly fishing territory here, so be sure to bring your gear!

Downtown Brevard has a quaint small town feel but boasts fantastic dining choices, bakeries, shopping, and several local art galleries. Check out the shopping, dining and scenery as you walk down Main Street. A favorite is Main Street Ltd., a great gift shop right next to Quotations Cafe. Of course, Brevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, and is also host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all)

Hendersonville, Asheville and Greenville SC are all less than an hour away, and each offers a unique experience. If you want to try ziplines, check out The Gorge in Saluda which boasts the fastest, longest and steepest ziplines in the world. Lake Toxaway, Highlands and Cashiers round out the other nearby towns that you might want to include in your itinerary.

Please keep your dogs on leash because neighboring dogs might view your pets as rivals. Please keep dogs crated if you leave them alone in the house. We hope you enjoy our little home as much as we do, and we look forward to hosting you.

We are so excited to host your visit! The Pete Key Properties team welcomes you and is here to help create a memorable experience. Enjoy the free activities described above, and you can also book helicopter tours, e-bikes, wellness tours and hiking and more through our Activity Concierge. Please don t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or need anything at all. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Beautiful views! We felt like we were above the clouds! Lots of sheets, towels, paper products and trash bags. Dish and hand soap was also provided. We took advantage of the free Biltmore ticket and were so glad we did. The host communicated well and was prompt to answer any questions we had.

The cabin was exactly as described. We rate it a 10/10! The home is spotless, well appointed with beautiful furniture and very comfortable. And the host was so accommodating to our pet dog too. The scenery is spectacular. After a day of hiking , golfing or exploring we loved sitting out by the fire pit enjoying the beautiful mountain views. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back!

Perfect mountain stay. Secluded but safe, well maintained house with every comfort imaginable. We had our dog and he was happy as could be. The outside areas were great with seating and tables with mountain views and even a stargazing platform. Super clean and organized.

The photos listed fid not do this property justice. The views from sunrise to sunset are amazing. The cabin itself was darling. It was perfect for the purpose for our stay.It was pet friendly. We appreciated that since we travel with a service dog, I could suggest that it would helpful for previous guests to clean up after their pets. Or that could also had been from a roaming animal? When walking into the cabin it was very warm and welcoming, with the open concept of the light coming through the windows and the loft above. The host was nice to go above to have a bouquet of fresh flowers on the dining table. The location was convenient to Bervard and Ashville but I would definitely suggest coming in during the daylight to find the location as some of the closer turns to get there are better traveled in the light first After that its no problems We will definitely be bsck in Spring

Secluded mountain top A-frame 3 bedroom (king, queen, and single). 1 and 1/2 bath . Kitchen fully stocked with everything to cook. Dinner on the deck of home was wonderful. Spectacular sunsets from a terrace deck separate from the home. Peaceful. Deer visit in the morning . Perfect for really getting away from the stress of life. 15 min from Brevard. Try the Bohemian Restaurant and the Bakery on Main Street downtown.

The view, fires, and conversation made for a great stay. Cabin needs a few things looked at, but all in all we would book it again.

We were looking for a secluded cabin but that felt safe for our family to stay for my birthday/Labor Day weekend. It was close enough to town to have a short drive (15-20 mins) for groceries and other necessities. We were hesitant because it is animal friendly and we have a son highly allergic to dogs but we went with it because of all the reviews that said it was very clean. It was absolutely spotless. If you do not bring animals for any reason don’t let this deter you. It was spotless. The views were beautiful. We felt so at home the whole time. We plan to visit again and would recommend this place 100%.
