Scenic retreat with private hot tub, fenced yard, fire table, & furnished porch

The house has it all: space, large backyard, large garage, spacious kitchen, beautiful setting.

Loved the house, very well set up including anything you could need for bike work! Fenced in yard for the dog and even a gate on the front porch! We will be back!

Place was spotless and a cozy comfortable place to stay. Nice bedding, linen and towels. Not the cheap hotel type. Plenty of hot water. I hate to stay somewhere and end up with cold water. (There were six adults). Thermostats easy to control, we were very comfortable inside or a cold rainy day. No complaints. Check it out!

We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could add another week! Watching our beagle run zoomies in the enormous fenced backyard was the highlight of our stay! The large table in the center of the home was exactly what we wanted to lay out a puzzle and we still have room for meals! The close proximity to Pisgah Forest trails was incredible! We enjoyed our day at the Biltmore which was a lovely drive. We also loved taking our beagle to Oscar Blues Brewery which was close and even had a Vegan black bean burger and fries! Ingles market was also close and had everything we needed. Lastly, we would love to come back for the Highland Brewery Winter Ale Release Festival again! We were blown away by the size of the event, with live music, great brews and food trucks, it was awesome!

The Retreat at Fern Cove is a lovely home in a beautiful location. My family had a wonderful time and enjoyed all of the amenities that were offered. We appreciated the attention to detail at the retreat - nice furnishings and all the necessary ingredients for a holiday. We'll be back!

Spacious, new, and clean home perfect for our mini vacation. Very nice and quiet neighborhood in wooded location. Even though this house is in a small development it has plants of space between other houses and feels very private.

We have stayed at dozens of rental homes in many states and counties. The Retreat is by far the nicest, best equipped and thoughtful home by a long shot. Tom and Gloria’s place has no equal. There were 9 of us in the house for 3 nights. Everyone commented on the many nice touches to be found everywhere they looked. From the small flashlights on the night stands, the vast array of coffees and teas, the fully equipped bike repair station (complete with a chromebook for looking up specs and watching how to youtubes), to a helpful reference book on local attractions, breweries, restaurants, hikes, etc. This place is 100% worth every penny.

We chose this home for our Pisgah trip mainly bc of its super convenient location. We had a large group of 9 people and couldn’t believe how well the house was set up. It was immediately apparent how much thought the owners put into everyone’s needs with all the finishing touches throughout. Beautifully decorated w local pics, kitchen was so well equipped & clean, beds were super comfortable, hot tub was an awesome extra that we used much more than expected, nightcaps on the front porch couch with a gas fire table, and the garage includes a completely equipped bike shop! It felt like we were in our own house and it was so nice to return to such a clean and welcoming home after our biking, hiking & fishing adventures! I honestly can’t think of anything I would change or add - it was perfect, even for our large group! Many thanks to the owners for making our visit so care free and fun!
