Probably my favorite listing and stay in the past few years I’ve been doing this. The property was everything and more. Provided enough space and tranquility for every personality in the house. The location was ideal. The amenities were ample. The kitchen space was the best, provided light and life. Will be booking again in the future.
We stayed here July 8-15th - when the crazy storm hit Ludlow with record breaking rain and horrible flooding! In spite of this, we had a wonderful week at the house. Very roomy with plenty of space for all 14 of us - 11 adults and 3 children. We could all be together or take time out with plenty of space for everyone to sprawl. Management was great during the flood, making sure we were safe and had everything we needed. While we were housebound, we made use of the game room and when the rain stopped, we were out and about on the property. Plenty of trips down to the pond on property to see what new creatures we could find. The younger kids loved it! Wonderful family vacation! Have to also say that the people of Ludlow really came together to make sure everyone had food and supplies. What a wonderful community! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay!
Absolutely gorgeous home and property. Very good location and beautiful house. We stayed here in march of 2023 and the weather was perfect for hanging out inside, going in the snow, or going skiing. Overall an amazing trip with an amazing host!
We had a fantastic time at this truely beautiful home. From check in to check out everything was smooth. The cleaning staff and house managers were excellent and very accomodating. If we could give this beautiful home more than 5 stars we would. Highly recommed this house for anyone who is visiting the area.
We rented this property for over the New Year’s Holiday and traveled with 12 people with ages ranging from 14 to 55! I can tell you the pictures of this property don’t do it justice. As a believer that the heart of any home is the kitchen, this home delivers in spades! With multiple cooking spaces, dishwashers, and a huge center island w/seating, we found our group congregating here in the mornings and while cooking with laughter, discussions, and wonderful smells filling the house. The large dining room table allowed everyone to sit together to talk about the day’s adventures down the ski slope, best boarding jump accomplished, or the fastest snow tuber of the day. The bench behind the dining table also allowed space for those who wanted to be near the action but not in it so they could read a book or catch up on email using the fast connection wi-fi provided. The Great Room, Living Room and “game table” all tied together beautifully for our gamers that wanted a TV or puzzle at the “game table” area, and us older folks’ content to watch the fire and listen to the kids tell each other which bumper, button, paddle or A/B combination would result in their Mario Cart win! With large comfortable couches and chairs in the living room and couches and chairs in the great room, everyone could find a great spot for their chosen relaxing time. The basement was a big hit with the kids ages 55 to 14 with the pool table, darts, and other games. The large TV in the basement provided additional movie viewing and video game space. Sometimes basement rooms are not popular with kids but that is not the case in this home. As the games and sauna are here, the kids were falling over each other trying to claim a basement room. The property itself offers spectacular views, an outdoor fire pit, a picturesque pond and lots of room for outdoor play. As we were there in the winter, the snowman building, and snowball fight were an amazing way to burn off any excess energy. Due to a hectic ski schedule, we didn’t get a chance to do much hiking around the property but there would certainly be opportunity to do so. Of course, the covered hot tub makes a great way to relax the muscles from a long day skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring the quaint local towns and villages. One my favorite vacation home rentals ever.
