Many sports opportunities areavailable from fishing (lake or ocean), golfing (Royal Colwood and Olympic View Golf Clubs are 5 minutes away, Highland Pacific and Bear Mountain Golf Resort are 15 minutes away), as well as hiking and biking. The community is home to many Canadian sports development centres - tennis, golf, rugby, biking, rowing to name a few.
