Great spot in a nice town!

We only stayed one night and did not use the kitchen for cooking. Looked like it was properly stocked. The open floor plan at the front of the home was comfortable for visiting. Upstairs room/bathroom was very comfortable. Was able to walk to the downtown area and also visited the St. Croix Falls downtown across the river. Would

We were in the area for work and didn't have much time to check out the area, but the location was great - very close to the charming Taylors Falls downtown.

Pet friendly and in a great location close to restaurants and a park.

The Scandinavia Retreat is a lovely place for a weekend getaway.

Very nice home. Very clean. Great location. Very quiet. One star taken off because the only shower is in the upstairs bathroom. This would not have been a problem except that 4 of us were getting ready for a wedding at the same time. Would recommend this house.

Wonderful stay. The home is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked— everything we could think of and more. Check-in and check-out were super easy (no long chore lists!). We loved the comfy beds and the outdoor seating area. Location was perfect— we walked to town and had a 5 minute drive to canoe. Do be aware of the big damage deposit hold on credit cards… but it was a seamless stay.

The Scandinavian Retreat was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway! It was clean, cute, well appointed and close to shopping. It also had a lovely patio that we enjoyed for evening socializing too.The host was very responsive when booking and responding to questions.We would stay here again!

Air conditioning was not that good. Very hot weekend and could not keep up. Location was good. House conditions were good. Host was very responsive to issues that arose. Spiral staircase was intimidating. Overall, it was a good weekend getaway.

Easy check-in, very comfortable stay. Loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Scandinavian Retreat over Thanksgiving weekend. It was the perfect start to the holiday season, made even more special by the village parade that began right in front of the house! We enjoyed walking just a few blocks to the festivities, where we admired the beautiful lights, bonfires, and historic homes illuminated for the occasion. The house itself was cozy and welcoming, equipped with everything we needed and many thoughtful extras. There were plenty of dishes and cooking supplies, along with additions like avocado and coconut oils, seasonings, condiments, and handy supplies such as baggies and foil. The soaps, lotions, and extra toiletries were a lovely touch as well. Our son especially loved having his own space up the spiral staircase. We would absolutely book this lovely home again. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Beautiful home! It has everything you need while still maintaining a decluttered, warm hygge vibe. Walkable to downtown TF! Can’t wait to go back!

Our stay was amazing…hosts thought of all the little things. Great location. Checkin was easy. Cory was very easy to communicate with and offered suggestions of things to do. Very comfortable beds and overall great experience for our girls get away!

We came here for a bachelorette party weekend and had a great time! Right in the heart of taylor’s falls - we were able to hike, eat good food, and catch a boat cruise in stillwater! Cory was an amazing host and was responsive to all our questions. Home was clean and provided all the things we needed!

The house was very cute. The owners thought of everything. There were amenitiies all over the house. The lanai was a special treat. Very relaxing to sit there and have morning coffee. The house was very, very clean, and the kitchen was supplied with all kinds of utensils and dinnerware. Coffee was even supplied! We had a very enjoyable stay

My friend and I booked the Scandinavian Retreat for our girlfriend get-away week, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The house is welcoming, the decor is peaceful and set up in a way that encourages relaxation as well as communication. At the end of the day, my friend and I enjoyed having our own space for privacy at night. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and check-in was very easy. We highly recommend this location, and our hosts!
