Stayed May 27, 2026Sara Bay Base Camp - what an amazing place! From the moment we walked through the door, everything was clean, inviting, and a perfect home base for our bachelorette trip. Anything and everything we could have needed was already there and ready to go, thanks to Trippe's thoughtful attention to detail.The pool was beautiful, the landscaping was immaculate, and all of the amenities were easy to use. The house was conveniently located near the beach, downtown shopping, local dive bars, and so much more.Trippe was incredibly helpful throughout every aspect of this once-in-a-lifetime trip. He was quick to respond and provided a ton of local recommendations for food and attractions. We truly cannot recommend this place enough to future guests. Who knows—we may even be back ourselves! Stayed Mar 5, 2026Believe the hype. This place is as advertised. The rooms were great, the layout was spectacular, and the amenities were off the hook. Throw in a host that bent over backwards to make sure that we had a blast, and the stay could not have gone any better. The “boys” (60-year old men down for golf and spring training baseball) loved the place so much that we forwent our typical restaurant plan and grilled out 3 of the 5 nights we were down, so we could swim, and play lots of golf, bocce, and billiards - and hangout at the fire pit. This sums it up: Next time we go back to Sarasota, we’re staying at Trippe’s place again. Isn’t that the best thing you can say about a rental?

Stayed Mar 2, 2026Sara Bay Base Camp (SBBC) offered everything we could have hoped for in hosting a friends' escape to Sarasota. The house was spacious and well stocked for our needs. We made excellent use of the comfortable outdoor spaces for relaxing, grilling and entertaining. The house is close good shopping and restaurants and convenient for taking in some Grapefruit League baseball games. Our host was very communicative and attentive, helping ensure that our visit was enjoyable. It was unanimous among our five guests, we would definitely return to SBBC!

Stayed Jan 29, 2026wait over an hour for any question I had while staying in his property. The house is very spacious. Located on a gorgeous golf course, lots of room for activity and the bedrooms are massive. The backyard was great for a pool day and games. It was a great home base for my college friends and I when we came to Sarasota for our friends wedding.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025This is truly the best Base Camp for all your Sarasota/Bradenton adventures. The host was exceptionally helpful and attentive. The house had everything we needed and was welcoming and ready to enjoy from the moment we walked in with spacious areas for large groups. Our teens loved the grand backyard with its beautiful views and fun games and amenities. We could have stayed at the house the entire time and been entertained. Downtown Sarasota with its marina, shopping and restaurants is just a few miles away and Lido Key and Siesta Key are both easy to get to for beaches and fun! There are also several public golf courses close by. I highly recommend this unique stay-your family/friends will love it!
