This place is magical. This is our sixth time booking this fantastic space and that speaks for itself. The hosts Geraldine and Jay are not only excellent caretakers of the dome and its guests, they have become dear friends to us. If you want a balance of beautiful solitude and being minutes away by car from all that Santa Fe has to offer, this place is perfect. We are thankful to have found this place.

Terrific, quiet, unique property with friendly, amazing hosts. The geodome sits on a dead-end road so you have peace and quiet. The sunsets, animal sightings and trail can’t be beat. Everything we needed was provided and we had a wonderful, relaxing time. Only 15 minutes to Santa Fe and 1 hour from Albuquerque. Would definitely stay again on another trip to the desert.

I had a wonderful stay at Jay and Geraldine's dome. It was beautiful inside and out and a great experience to stay in such a unique structure. I loved all of the artwork and curated items in the home and the absolutely beautiful plants - the jade tree was spectacular! The view was reason enough to stay there with the train tracks and a trail right at your feet but the view from the long horizontal windows inside was also breathtaking. It was a great location, at the end of a long road so it was quiet, but it was also a quick drive to anywhere in Santa Fe you wanted to explore. I met Jay and Geraldine the morning I was leaving, and they were warm, kind and lovely to talk with.

Unique, clean, beautiful, peaceful - and just steps to hiking a trail that goes on for miles. Sweet retreat!

This was our 2nd stay and it was just as perfect as our first. It’s the loveliest dome home with stellar views and incredible walking paths right out the door. A definite must book location that is close to everything while allowing for privacy and peace.

This home is wonderful- comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed and the hosts are kind and thoughtful. Come here if you want a calm and soothing atmosphere. The walking trail is great and it’s right outside the property. Please don’t come when I want to be there. :)

A wonderful small house with great outside space for watching the nightly sunsets. Close enough to town to easily drive in for activities / restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and to enjoy the natural surroundings. Adjacent to a well-maintained walking trail. Very gracious hosts and an all-around lovely stay.

You will not be disappointed with both the views or the property. Its about 15 minutes outside of Santa Fe so it is nice and quiet, no city hustle and bustle. It is right next to a very nice waling trail that's great for bikes as well. Jay and Geraldine are great hosts and are very fun to talk to. The next time we go to Santa Fe this is very much so on our list!

This is the home of the hosts working artists with studio on the property. They move into a nearby, smaller dome when this is booked. They are nearby, but never an obtrusive presence. Delightful, helpful, responsive, kind, and generous. Their home is tastefully furnished, totally comfortable, better equipped than any rental where I have stayed before. (I have stayed in many). I would stay here again and again. Friends who live in Santa Fe who saw the property wanted details so they could have visitors stay there. Love at first sight and for the rest of my ten days there.

The pet friendly dome is very comfortable with every amenity you can think of.The setting is gorgeous and feels remote even though it is just a 15 minute drive to town. The lovely hosts are artists and their work can be enjoyed throughout the house. There is a wonderful walking/hiking/cycling trail just steps away making morning and evening dog walks a treat. Staying in the dome was a special experience and I highly recommend it!

I consider Jay and Geraldine two of my closest and dearest friends since first staying in their breathtaking dome for practically a decade! The views are incredible, you are steps away from a trail in the high desert, and just 14 minutes away from the Plaza, all the shops, restaurants, and museums. A day trip to Taos is a must if you have the time. We look forward to our visit throughout each year. Jay and Geraldine are infinitely warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The surrounding nature, natural spas, museums, yoga, vegetarian offerings, galleries, and tasty food are all outstanding.

Can't say enough about what a great place to stay this was. A little architectural gem of a house, compact without feeling small, filled with funky vintage furniture and beautiful art(much of which was made by the hosts). Fantastic location-15 Minutes from Santa Fe downtown area, but very rural and peaceful. Great rail trail steps away at the end of the road -look for Rusty at the trailhead! Beautiful views and great stargazing. Grocery store a few minutes away for essentials and be sure to grab some breakfast at the Fina Cafe. Jay and Geraldine are wonderful hosts. Jay left us excellent coffee to start our days. Many helpful suggestions from both for things to do, places to eat and sights to see. The place to stay if you're visitng Santa Fe. We're already planning when we can come back!
