Every detail is clearly intentional—from the cozy furnishings to the well-appointed kitchen and inviting outdoor spaces. It’s the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort.We especially loved spending time outside, whether enjoying morning coffee with the river flowing nearby or unwinding in the evening surrounded by nature. It’s an ideal retreat for relaxation, reflection, and reconnecting with what matters most.The hosts were outstanding—responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was perfect. Tranquil property, a peaceful get-away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is so much to review here are some highlights: I. Location - As advertised, down a quiet street, set back from the road, right on the river. Appreciated the owner providing the address as well as the address that most map apps use so finding the place was not a problem!II. Grounds - Beautiful surroundings with well-lit areas and buildings. Details are attended to - hiking (trek) sticks provided for those venturing down to the river.III. Main house - cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is stocked with every type of cookware, bakeware, and cooking implement. There are multiple options for making your morning coffee (ranging from pour over to pods). The front room has a cozy wood stove, ample seating, and great views of the outdoors. The porch has multiple seating and overlooks the river. The views and sounds were amazing. Great for morning coffee or afternoon wine! Bedrooms and bathrooms well-stocked and comfy. The record player and vintage vinyl collection were a wonderful surprise. IV. Bunkhouse - Microwave & fridge made for fun late-night TV viewing.Owners have attended to details, are great communicators, and left very detailed instructions/information throughout the property. We can't wait to return!

This is the best home I’ve ever stayed in. It has every amenities you could possibly imagine. The owners really tried to think of every possible item you might need to make your stay enjoyable. We sat out and enjoyed a fire and then cooked in there beautiful kitchen, before sleeping in the most amazing bed. The owners were also incredibly responsive to anything we needed. I really wished we could have stayed longer.

They have thought of everything. Smooth check in, two kinds of coffee makers, all modern appliances in the kitchen, hiking sticks, games, a record player! It's a beautiful home, uniquely decorated, and suitable for two families with kids to enjoy each other's company. Close to so many natural wonders, including the Sandy River, Little Zigzag Falls, Salmon River, and not far from Timberline and Government Camp! Hosts were friendly and responsive, helpful every time. I have not one complaint, and we will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful location! With a stream running beside the house, all the magnificent amenities, gorgeous views, and well equipped kitchen and barbecue area- it’s a gem! Even little details like make-up removing face clothes were so appreciated. Grateful for the opportunity to share in this beautiful home! Blessed!
