Sandy Point Shalom - Ocean access and sunrise view - 20 mins to Bellingham

This is an ideal spot for a getaway. The view of Mount Baker is superb. If you can tear yourself away you are close to Trader Joes. Always a treat for Canadians. We really enjoyed a drive to Lynden. It's a sweet little town with the most gorgeous hanging flower baskets I've ever seen. the cabin is equipped with everything you'll need and is pet friendly.

Comfortable home, very clean. It had everything we needed. Great communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous view from the back deck! Clean, well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds. Loved having kayaks to take out. Pet friendly! We had a great time.

This was one of the loveliest places I've rented - thoughtfully equipped, including a complete kitchen(!) beautifully decorated and spacious, and with heart-stopping views over the bay to Mount Baker. We had trouble accessing the property, and the stove went on the blink - the property host couldn't have been more responsive in addressing the issues, both of which I believe were one offs that in no way diminish my five star rating and enthusiastic recommendation of this place,

The cottage is clean, adorable, well appointed, with the most spectacular view!! My parents were visiting from out of state and it was the perfect weekend getaway for them to experience the best of the PNW coast. I really appreciated that the cottage is dog friendly, and my dogs really enjoyed our walks on the beach. Fair warning though- the tide goes out quite far, and the exposed sand gets REALLY embedded in dog fur! Luckily there is a hose on the side of the house, and I'm glad I brought some doggy shampoo and extra dog towels. To stay clean stick to the pebble shore.

First time staying at the property. Came into town to visit daughter who lives in Bellingham. We normally stay at a hotel but won’t again. What a wonderful little cabin. I was expecting a tiny place but it was the perfect size for the three of us. I can’t think of a thing we lacked in our 6 day stay. The views were breathtaking!! We will be back!

Had a lovely stay, we had everything we needed (plus some!). The porch was lovely, as was all the spaces we could walk around to with our pup. Thank you!

It was an awesome stay for us and our pets. We went on many walks even to the marina and enjoyed the peacefulness all around. The views were fantastic! We had such a fun and relaxing get away! The Shalom house is cute and cozy with an incredible view. Highly recommend.

Clean house wonderful location watched seals and fish jump. only trouble was the tv set up was not working in the living room. But bedroom tv worked fine so no worries. We had a great time. We will try and come back next year.

The home was beautiful, we loved sitting on the deck, admiring the beautiful views of the water and the snow capped mountains!

Sandy Point Shalom Cabin was perfect fit for our visit. We had a warm and clear weekend so the views were breathtaking. Everything we needed was provided. I would highly recommend this property as a place to land at the end of a busy day or to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.

It was nice. Dont go kayaking while the tide is going out. You could have a long walk back.

Very pleasant stay at the Shalom cottage. Enjoyed the stormy beach weather right outside the door. It was clean, bright, comfortable and the kitchen was like being at home. We had a restful weekend.

Nice quiet neighborhood near BHam and Ferndale. We had a couple of clear days and this house has one of the best views of Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters in Whatcom county. It's absolutely beautiful and oh so peaceful!

We were visiting our son in Bellingham but wanted to be on the beach too. This is the perfect location! 20 minutes to the heart of Bellingham with the relaxation of the beach. Everything was wonderful. It is right on the beach. I’m sure the summer is amazing and hope we can visit again to enjoy all of the water toys.
