Sanctuary in the Shire MCA#50080-2 homes for Family Reunion, BBQ, Dogs Ok.

This was a perfect space for our family of 18 to gather for a long weekend! The location is amazing, just behind the main shopping street and two blocks to the beach. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms and having three different living room type spaces also gave plenty of flexibility with multiple generations. The hosts were also very responsive to messages and gave clear instructions.

Our stay was great. Although, after the weekend the host messaged and claimed we did damage to the property that we did not do.

The kitchen was very well equipped. Both houses were clean. Great location.

It is exceptionally clean, well equipped for cooking & entertaining both indoors and out. Location can't be beat with short walks to the center of Manzanita shops & restaurants & the beach. Property Management was very informative pre-arrival and accessible & responsive while during our stay. I highly recommend Sanctuary in the Shire for any Family vacation to the Oregon Coast!

We had a family reunion here - 11 adults and 2 children, and a dog. It was perfect for us. The two houses let us divide up into the late night house and the early to bed house. The breezeway was perfect for all of us to eat in and have drinks. Two quick blocks to the beach with a coffee shop and a hot dog stop on the way. Well equipped and comfortable. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. We really enjoyed out time here. I highly recommend these houses to any group.

We enjoyed a weekend together with our 4 adult children, their spouses and 4 grandchildren (total 14 people). Having two homes that are closely connected were an ideal set up for our group. The location was outstanding, just a short walk to coffee, grocery and shops. The beach is an easy flat 3 block walk. The homes are beautifully remodeled and well appointed with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots/pans, etc. plus beach toys and games for kids.The outdoor gathering areas are a great addition and dogs are allowed. There was plenty of parking and we were notified when the house was ready for us to check in (an hour before the assigned check in). The only small convenience I might add would be shower organizers or something to set soap/shampoo on in the showers. Thank you so much!!!

We were able to have large dinners in the connected covered outdoor area. Somewhat soft beds and if you are over 6’ in the smaller home the upstairs bedroom won’t work, but otherwise a great stay. A minute walk to downtown and 3 to the beach. Great location and a good time for all.
