This cabin is 6 miles east of Pagosa Springs on Highway 160 in the San Juan River Resort, mountain side. It has some views through the trees, easy access to the highway, and 18 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Area. The San Juan River Resort is surrounded by 3 million acres of National Forest.

Stayed May 10, 2024Great property in the Mountains. Deer and Fox visited us daily. Nice view of the river as well. Quiet location, locals were friendly. Heart of Pagosa Springs is a quick drive with hot springs, shoppings, and dining together.

Stayed Dec 28, 2025We loved the location of this house, the open floor plan and beautiful windows that let in so much natural light for us to enjoy the forest. It was a quick drive up to Wolf Creek to ski and this also meant we didn't have to deal with the traffic in town. When we went in town to shop and visit the hot springs, it was also a quick easy drive. The neighborhood was great, the home had everything we could want or need and the homeowners were very quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend this house! The beds were comfortable, the carpet very clean and cozy, the kitchen had all we needed to cook all of our meals in after hitting the grocery store. Thank you for the lovely place for our family to call home during this holiday week.

Stayed Aug 18, 2025Comfortable and cozy, homey decor, plenty of room to spread out, great location away from town noise and traffic.Host was immediately avaliable during our stay.Neighborhood was mostly quiet, and we enjoyed mornings on the back deck. No mountain views, but tall pines surround the property. Neighboring houses are very close.Kitchen particularly well stocked.Appliances in good working order.In August, this house gets very hot before noon on sunny days, and doesn't cool off till the sun sets....but this is manageable.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025It was the perfect distance to get into Pagosa Springs, 10 minutes from where our friends were camping and on the way to Wolf Creek and beyond for fishing, riding trails, anything we wanted to do. Home was clean and had the most stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen! We would certainly stay again when back in the area!

Stayed Feb 3, 2025We stayed here during a late season ski trip and it was perfect! With a very reasonable drive to either the mountain side or Pagosa Springs, this cabin could not have been more ideal. Thanks to the Hoyt family for providing such a clean, comforting place to stay!

Stayed Feb 20, 2025The property was as described and in a great location. Close to the Ski area and close to Pagosa Springs. There were a few things not working. The garbage disposal, the couch pullout is broken. Towels were left in the dryer, but we eventually found them. Nothing too major, overall, it was a nice stay in a great location.

Stayed Dec 19, 2024The property is in a great location for a weekend ski trip to Wolf Creek.Place was very clean and the check in/check out process was very easy.The only things to keep in mind is that this place is a little difficult to find in the dark. Recommend checking in during the day. Driveway is also a little steep.
