San Diego Home w/ Deck & Yard - 2 Blocks to Bay!

The property was not clean and there were pet hairs. We developed allergy due to that .

Great house, great location, plenty of parking. I would definitely stay at this house again; however, ceiling fans must first be installed in the rooms and more standing fans need to be provided. There weren't enough cross ventilation options or fans to keep us cool. It stayed 77 degrees in the house the whole weekend.

Great stay

We loved the location of this property. The shower and bed were amazing. We did however agree with some of the other people after staying that maybe another fan of something is needed when it’s hotter. However it was a great place to watch the fireworks. We absolutely loved watching from the porch.

Cottage is in a great neighborhood and was good for what we needed. We wanted to ve in that neighborhood and it was a short stay. Restaurants and bay in 2 blocks. We enjoyed the deck at night. Busy streets on both sides but still slept good. Bed was comfortable House overall was just ok. It really needs some tlc and a good cleaning. Yard could use some love too.

As described in listing. Pros: location, parking, comfy bed. Cons: no A/C, traffic noise, brightness from street through blinds at night. Use a fan for white noise and comfort. I would not stay during hot months.

Great location for seeing San Diego. Very close to airport but also to the Zoo and easy to get to Mission Bay. Just a few blocks from the house takes you to the harbor and a nice trail. Neighborhood has restaurants and a only a short drive to a gourmet supermarket. House is comfortable and private but basic. There is a nice yard and deck and room for parking.

I was in town for my granddaughter’s 11th birthday looking for 1 bedroom, 1 bath with step-in shower, kitchen, close to ocean, on site parking, place to safely take daily walks. Property met all those requirements My Favorite things: Outstanding walking path by Bay/Bessemer Beach only two blocks from rental—I used it every day Unexpected air conditioning was appreciated Easy access to places we went to: Liberty Station (Fig Cafe-fabulous brunch; Buona Forchetta-my granddaughter’s favorite Italian restaurant) ;Glorietta Bay Park (for birthday celebration) Old Town (Casa Guadalajara restaurant & Mormon Battalion Historical site) Barrio Logan for Chicano Park and my son-in-law’s Arts-Rec Store. Property manager Randi replied quickly to my concerns: Changed front door lock code from 1234 to secure one. Location of remotes to Air conditioning and backyard gate How to access WIFI Incident with sliding back door glass shattering Suggestions: At least one Safety hand rail on front and back entry stairs. Difficult to safely maneuver when carrying things. Safety mats inside and outside shower—I used towels. Have landscape maintenance done before our arrival, not the day before I checked out. Incident of sliding back door glass shattered by weedeater throwing a rock. Luckily my parked rental car didn’t get damaged. Deck furniture & gas grill needed cleaning to be usable. Mostly good stay. I’d stay again if safety issues resolved.

Such a cute little cottage conveniently located to everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and great to communicate with. We look forward to staying again! :)
