Stayed Jan 31, 2026The house smelled like sewage and the heat did not work. I let the owner know and he replied that it is a really old house and it does not have much insulation. He said he would supply more blankets. We slept in our coats all night. Also they were late for check in because the house cleaners car broke down. So check in was delayed by a half hour. He did give us a 50 credit. Thought it should have been more.

Stayed Jun 5, 2025We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was close to the riverwalk (5 min drive) and a ton of other fun attractions. The only drawback was how close to the highway and train the house was to the house which made it a bit louder than expected but not enough to make us not go back. The house was clean and well stocked and honestly once of the nicest VRBO's I've stayed in. The swim spa was a great perk of this place and despite having a minor issue working it (operator error LOL; a guide to operate it would have been nice and is something we suggested to the owner for future guests) when we first arrived, the host Brandon was on top of it. Overall this was a great, safe location that my boyfriend and I really enjoyed while visiting San Antonio!
