Reviewer Comments: We rented Salty Sue for our family’s Thanksgiving gathering, and let me tell you it delivered the kind of magic you can’t put into a listing description. We were even granted special permission to host a large family dinner, and the moment everyone walked in, they were blown away by the beauty of the home, the location, and the long list of amenities that made us feel like royalty with full plates.The house had everything we needed to fill it with warmth, laughter, and happily stuffed bellies. I’m already plotting a summer return because this place is a gem with easy beach access, great restaurants, and all the comfort without the chaos and crowds Destin is famous for.If I give Salty Sue 10 stars!

Stayed Aug 29, 2025This was the most amazing place. I could not ask for more accommodations. IT LITERALLY HAS EVERYTHING!!! We were in town for a wedding on the beach. We had our whole family come from multiple locations. It was perfect! Highly recommend and hope to come back soon!

We went here with three other families for vacation.The house was in excellent shape and very clean. The property was as described and was only a short walk from the beach. The elevator and golf cart were a nice touch as they were very useful for our families.The owner/manager were very nice and provided good customer service and stopped by with a bag of ice when there were issues with the ice machine. There was also a small issue with the lights by the pool and they quickly sent someone to fix it. The kids loved the pool and spent most of their time there.I highly recommend this property. We vacation in the area, and this was by far the nicest property we stayed at. We will definitely go back or check out their sister property, Delta Dawn.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025Great house , property and extras. The Family had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for all . Sooo much fun. Had a little golf cart glitch and property glitch. Taken care of right away. Maybe a few more large pots for kitchen cuz we cooked a lot for 20.

The house had everything we needed and more. The elevator was especially appreciated since 2 of our family members are handicapped. We had to call our host about a couple of small issues and he sent someone out right away to correct them. We would definitely stay here again!
