Stayed Aug 28, 2025This property is very old and in need of improvements. Not simply for guest comfort, but safety as well. We ended up leaving one day early.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025House was perfect for family getting together. We asked for fans so we could enjoy the enclosed front space. Also we covered the 2 sofas with a big white sheets and it made everything so nice looking. We will be back

Stayed Dec 22, 2024The overall stay was good - can't beat the location, and despite being a bit dated, the place was spacious and perfect for a family. My only negative was the cleanliness for the price point of the stay. At 500 a night after fees, I didn't think the dirty sheets, dishes, dog hair, and pet-stained carpets were acceptable. I appreciated management bringing us basic cleaning items and a vacuum for our stay. All communication was very prompt and appreciated.

Stayed Aug 31, 2024The place was filthy. We were afraid to touch anything. We have photos if needed. The property person who helped Skyler was awesome handling the situation.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024My wife and I have been staying at houses on 30A for years, and this one is our favorite. It has a wonderful sleepy West Coast beach house aesthetic, is surprisingly spacious, and is laid out for gatherings and good hangs. It's situated on a quiet street that's a short walk to Grayton beach and Red Bar (our favorite dinner spot in the area). So, the location can't be beat. So yeah, if you're looking for sort of a chill, vintage, convenient, lovely, and affordable experience on one of the best beaches in America, we 10/10 would recommend!

Stayed Jun 12, 2024We all loved being in the Salty Sister's Vacation Home. It is so close to the beach and the lake, and it is a really comfortable and roomy house.

Stayed Jul 7, 2024I would honestly like to meet the “Salty Sisters” - The house is so different - I am not sure if all the cute little pictures around the house are supposed to be crooked? The overall vibe of the house is just awesome. The back porch could use some TLC - besides that we loved it! Excellent location! The house is way bigger than we expected … you have to see the layout for yourself…a very cool and odd floor plan. We absolutely loved it overall!!!! So much awesome history in Grayton!

Stayed May 11, 2024Nice place near the water . Great neighborhood with wonderful old cottages and the walk to the beach is shady and lovely. The kitchen is very big and a little old fashioned. The rooms and upstairs bath and other areas are quite large. A fifties or seventies vibe through out, not hyper modern or fancy. Great with big group who need space to go off by themselves.. we had a writer on deadline, a two year old, a small dog and 5 other adults. Young couple with baby appreciated short walk to coffee place and huge quiet water lagoon at the beach. I appreciated the fact that there no signs of beach front property owners policing their l”turf” over the new regulations around customary use of beach. Family friendly Grayton town is the best. The cottage could use a little updating but if you like a sprawling old place this fits the bill.

Stayed Nov 9, 2023We stayed here for family outing in November. The property is well described- roomy house and bedrooms- comfortable. The big selling point for us was the open front deck when weather was nice and then the front screened in porch for rainy days or buggy nights. Good location and free bikes are a plus.

Stayed Sep 29, 2023We've stayed at 5 different properties in Grayton. This property has a ton of character!! The pictures of the Salty Sisters all over the house was a huge hit with my kids! They said 'You can tell the sisters really love this home' Location was excellent. walk or bike ride everywhere. Kitchen was fully usable, with working stove, sharp knives, plenty of cookware. The grill outside was a bit difficult to use (the hose was too short for the gas canister to reach, we had to get creative to cook out one night). The house was actually way larger and more spacious than we realized from the photos. we had no issues settling in with 4 adults and 2 kids (with plenty of room to spare). The closed in front porch made a great reading retreat. The only issue we had was a few bugs in the house, and the grill being difficult to use. We will definitely keep this cozy little home on our list of places to stay again!
