Welcome to Salty Sands! Our home is a beautiful fully remodeled & furnished home with everything you need nestled away in the beautiful barrier reef island of Ponce Inlet with beach access less than a block from the house.
As you enter you're greeted by a natural light that warms the home. To your immediate left is the fully remodeled and stocked kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances. In the kitchen is a dining table with seating for 6 that can be expanded if needed.
The open floor layout of the home means from the entry way or dining room you can access the large living room that is complete with a couch/loveseat combo overlooking a 55" smart tv with cable. Behind the couch is a large desk perfect for the "work cation" style of stay.
To your right of the living room is the back to bedrooms and second bathroom. bedroom #2 is complete with a queen bed, two night stands, a closet organization system, and a wall mounted smart tv. Bedroom #3 across the hall has a queen size bed and a full size bed, a closet organization system, a single nightstand in-between them, and a smart tv. In-between these bedrooms is the full size bathroom with his/her sinks & a shower/tub combo.
To your left of the living room is the hall taking you to the large master bedroom, complete with dresser/mirror combo, large walk in closet, his/her night stands, and a private bathroom with a large walk in shower.
From the living room is the entrance to the back yard which is completely fenced in with a beautiful paver walkway that takes you out to the spa and a few pieces of comfortable outdoor furniture for those wishing to enjoy the sun from the privacy of your backyard.
Near the dining room is the entry to the laundry room that is complete with full size washer/dryer.
Standing in the homes driveway you can see the Beach Access point so it is very close maybe a block and across the street is the renowned Jerry's Italian restaurant and Tiki Bar perfect for a pizza night or a good night of drinks and music. You can also walk over to the Oi! Surf Shop for a coffee or healthy smoothie.
**OTHER THINGS TO NOTE**
Minimum age: 25 - (this means the primary renter needs to be over 25)
1. Being transparent as possible -- Instead of charging a high security deposit or having you pay a non-refundable fee to VRBO for their coverage (which is not enough coverage) we have sought out a higher limit 3rd party coverage for incidentals. Our cost is $145 and is marked as an admin fee. This covers you for the vast majority of incidental damage to the unit that could happen. This solves two things. 1. We do not have to collect a huge security deposit from you. 2. More importantly it solves the damage claim process which VRBO had traditionally made hosts "aim" their damage claim at the guest first seeking payment before they would step in and pay. We wanted to ensure every guest was covered for both minor an major "oops" without having to deal with the hassle and coverage limitations set forth by VRBO.

This fee is charged for "after hours" arrivals.

PARKING:
We can park up to two vehicles. The garage has our golf cart so motorcycles or a small vehicle could fit in the garage. No more than two vehicles in the driveway overnight. Offsite trailer parking is available nearby that has one 48 ft x 14ft spot north of the easement palm tree and one 25ft x 14ft spot south of the palm tree.

GOLF CART:
Cost is $100/day or $500/week.
The gas powered golf cart is street legal & does have a beach pass
-Guests are responsible for the gas they use. There is a gas jug in the garage it is easiest to take that to the 7/11 in Daytona Beach Shores (closest station) to refill gas tank. There is a rental agreement that includes the golf cart.
-Must be 16 and hold a valid drivers license to drive.
-The guest will be liable for any fines incurred due to their use of the cart.
-Guests will be held liable for any damages done to the cart due to their use.
-The golf cart is not allowed to leave the island.
-Rental agreement outlines golf cart rules further.
HOT TUB:
No young children without adult supervision.
The hot tub contains water between 98-104 degrees. (hot water warning)
Guests will be liable for any damage done to the hot tub due to operator error (do not leave jets on if you are not in it, do not rip the cover off, etc things of this nature) Guests recognize that hot tubs contain water deep enough to drown and that there is no lifeguards. Swim at your own risk.
KEYS OR KEY FOBS: If lost or damaged are $75 to replace.
We provided a starter kit of household items; A few trash bags, laundry pods, dish detergent pods, toilet paper rolls, and one roll of paper towels. Once ours is gone it is the guest’s responsibility to purchase the things they need.
