Stayed Jun 25, 2025This short vacation was made perfect by a perfect place to stay, clean and very well appointed. We were a block from the beautiful beach and the house made clean up easy with a spray station and shower available downstairs. We are definitely coming back to Salty American!

Stayed Jun 3, 2024We have been in several properties on the west side of Galveston over the course of the last 6 years, and this one is our favorite by far! Plenty of room and very close to the beach. Deck furniture was comfortable; my mother-in-law loved the swing-chair! The kitchen was fantastic and well-appointed, so we used it quite a bit in our stay. Beds were comfortable for every one (15YO-88YO in our group.) Definitely will book The Salty American again when we head back down.

Stayed May 24, 2024My family and I had a great time at the Salty American over Memorial Day Weekend! The house was perfect for our needs. It really is only a 3 minute walk to the beach! And, despite it being a holiday weekend, that part of the beach was busy but not elbow to elbow! Very family friendly area. And we can’t say enough good things about the hosts. They were so responsive and accommodating. The house is well appointed and has everything you will need or want for a beach vacation!
