This hidden gem has secluded, tropical surroundings while steps away from miles and miles of sugar white sand! Newly remodeled in 2021, Salt Wind boasts an open-concept, spacious home with private, outdoor living space for everyone. The second level has a lounge area and 2 sets of full over full bunk beds giving an additional space for guests! This home accommodates 10 guests.

Night Minimum: 3-7 night minimum.

Mexico Beach includes stores and restaurants that are less than a 10-minute walk. Start your day enjoying a specialty coffee and delicious breakfast at Caribbean Coffee, enjoy lunch at the ever-popular Crazy Beach Pizza or Mango Marleys, do some shopping in the unique, locally-owned shops, and take some time to pamper yourself at the White Sands Salon & Boutique.

About 50 feet away from this coastal home, you will find yourself at the pristine blue water of the Gulf of Mexico with miles and miles of sugar-white sand. Whether you enjoy combing the beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you will spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun.

When you are ready to venture out, visit nearby Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops along Reid Avenue, many restaurants and grocery stores. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles!

Linens/Supplies: This home comes with everything you need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener.

Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year.

Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.

Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.

Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.

Boat Parking: Boat parking is allowed at this home.

Monthly Rental: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season. Please send a message to the property manager if you are interested.

Pet Friendly: This property is not pet-friendly and is an animal free zone due to severe allergies. If you bring a pet to this home, an automatic charge of $500 will be imposed and/or you will be asked to vacate the home immediately.

Cancellation Policy: CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.

Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.

    We loved this place and my boyfriend said that this might be our go to place for the beach from now on. It was perfectly secluded with surrounding vegetation so you feel like it's private, but right across from the beach. The house is cozy and beachy and well stocked with items one would need without having to pack so much. We loved it!

    Fantastic home, clean, well stocked and close to beach (about an 1 min walk to sand). Only downside is not much storage space in bedrooms, but it wasn't an issue for us. Beach was not crowded at all, practically had it to ourselves! Lots of marine life spotted, tons of shells for shell hunters. Water not as blue/emerald as 30A area, but still clean. We loved the laid back feel of the beach and surrounding area. Definitely would consider coming back.

    Great beach house! This was our second visit. Very welcoming and comfortable. Being directly across the street from the beach allows easy access. The view is amazing! Pictures and description are accurate.

    The house was clean with ample room and amenities. The location was great and literally steps away from the beach. The check in and check out processes were super easy and simple to follow. My family and I had a great time and will definitely consider coming back again!

    We enjoyed our stay at this property. The beach area in front the house was off-limits during our stay because it was being restored. But the view was fantastic, and it was an easy walk to an accessible beach. Mexico Beach is relatively quiet and not as crowded as some areas, which is a real plus. We'd stay there again.
