Salt + Oak Retreat is a private, one-bedroom coastal retreat located in the West Village of Cambria, California. Approximately 800 square feet, the Retreat occupies the entire upstairs portion of a two-story duplex, offering guests their own private space in a quiet residential neighborhood just a short walk from the shops, restaurants, and charm of the West Village.

Designed especially for romantic getaways for two, the Retreat blends relaxed coastal style with mid-century-inspired touches, abundant natural light, and comfortable spaces designed for slowing down and enjoying time together.

The bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed with blackout curtains, creating a cozy space for sleeping in after a day exploring the coast or enjoying a leisurely morning together. The full bathroom is stocked with thoughtful essentials and a few extras, so you can settle in without worrying if you forgot something at home.

The streamlined kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a full-size stove, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, glassware, and essential kitchen supplies.

One of the Retreat's favorite features is the private back deck, where you can enjoy your morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or a meal prepared on the BBQ grill.

Please note that the kitchen does not have a dishwasher or garbage disposal.

During your stay at Salt + Oak Retreat, you’ll have exclusive access to the entire upstairs portion of the property. The Retreat has its own private entrance and is completely separate from the studio unit located downstairs.

The front entrance opens to a flight of stairs leading to the Retreat, so guests should be comfortable using stairs.

Keyless self check-in makes arrival simple and convenient, allowing you to come and go independently throughout your stay.

Free parking is available in the driveway on-site. The driveway is the only shared area of the property; there are no other shared indoor or outdoor spaces.

There is a separate studio unit downstairs that is also offered as a vacation rental. It has its own private entrance and private outdoor space, and it may or may not be occupied during your stay. The two units are separate and designed to provide each guest with their own private space.
