Stayed Mar 1, 2022This property was very nice for a family getaway - spacious and well laid out to accommodate for group time as well as private time. The grounds were just great - dock for swimming and water activities, nice patio and seating for just enjoying the outside. The owners supplied the home with many of the basic necessities that one would need for a month away, and fortunately we have a friend in the area that was able to supplement with items that were not provided such as bikes, hairdryer, and a better vacuum cleaner. We spent much of our time enjoying all the activities St. Petersburg has to offer, and it was great to be able to come back to this home to relax by the water for a little down time. The neighbors were very friendly, the neighborhood itself was absolutely wonderful, close to the beautiful Pass-a-Grille beach and very accessible to downtown St. Petersburg. Overall we would highly recommend this property.

Stayed Jan 17, 2022This property is in a very nice residential neighborhood close to the beach (12 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride), where we went every day. We especially enjoyed the broad waterfront view from the house, a pleasant daily backdrop even if cool outside so we were staying inside. Dolphins fished right near the dock often, and many interesting birds would come. It was fun exploring the canals on the paddleboard. We also enjoyed the sheltered patio when too windy to be out water side. The home is comfortable, and the second bathroom and two other bedrooms away from the main bedroom/bath is a nice layout for having occasional guests. We appreciated the quality mattresses and bedding. The owners are caring, responsible individuals who truly want you to enjoy their property and follow through immediately if any issues arise. We have stayed twice for 6 weeks each and will look forward to another opportunity to visit again.

Stayed Mar 1, 2021This is an older-style Florida patio home on its own navigable canal, just minutes from all of the action in St. Pete Beach, including the quaint and historic Pass-a-Grille. The owners are exceptionally responsive and helpful, which we greatly appreciated, given that with an older home like this one, you might reasonably expect a glitch or two to arise over the month of your stay. Whenever that occurred with us, the owners were on it within hours. The neighborhood is homey and filled with friendly neighbors and consists of an eclectic mix of older Florida patio home (like this one) and rebuilds or new builds of much larger, spectacular homes. We would stay here (or elsewhere in this neighborhood) again without hesitation.

Stayed Jan 17, 2021Perfect location, 12 minute walk/5 minute bike ride to the beach, close to everything, yet pleasantly quiet, out of the fray. Spacious and comfortable midcentury home with expansive water view and everything needed for a long stay. Adequate quantity of appealing dishes, clean and functional cooking equipment, nice bed linens, all much appreciated as is often not the case in a rental home. Quality kayaks and paddleboards, lots of beach toys, outstanding dock for enjoying the waterfront. Fenced yard was great for relaxing on patio without worrying about our Yorkies. Exceptionally hospitable homeowners, really wanted us to enjoy our visit, assistance whenever needed and useful local tips. We are already looking forward to our return reservation for 6 weeks next year.

Stayed Dec 1, 2020We had such a great 6 week stay here at the end of 2020 on the Vina Del Mar Island. The house is so cute, and is open, with lots of light and comfortably accommodated 5 of us. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and bars of Pass A Grille as well as the cute butcher shop/market nearby called Shaners. We rode bikes to the beach every day and spent afternoons using the kayaks and paddle boards on the canal. We even saw a dolphin swimming by one day! Towels/beach chairs and water toys were all available for us in the garage. Communication was great and the owners were very responsive in fixing anything in house. Beautiful fenced in yard with grass and trees that our dogs enjoyed playing in. Overall we loved staying here and hope to return again someday!!
