Michael was a great host. The property was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The sculpture park across the street along the river was wonderful for walks in the evening. There are also other quaint cities near by to see.

Michael was a wonderful host! He even brought down a sled for my husband since my husband has never seen so much snow or even been sledding in his life lol. He had lots of tasty snacks available as well!

Kitchen fully equipped and the host even provided a few snacks. The house was warm and the light were on when we got there. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and it was spotless. The view is what makes this rental exceptional. So pretty to just watch the river run by. We will definitely stay here again.

Very easy to check in and in a very nice location to go walking

Michael is an exceptional host. Everything was exactly as stated but so much more. Many extra touches that are not mentioned in the description but are there to make your stay even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated the Christmas decorations. Michael was very responsive to our wish to have the heat lowered. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Michael for all you offer.

Our host Michael assured we were warm and cozy , left extra treats after a long day, Tv had great channels, and it was decorated for Christmas, it was absolutely beautiful!!

We checked in during a snow storm and our host was out there shoveling the driveway and the sidewalk! We really appreciated the warm welcome and the kind hospitality. The property was comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. St Charles is a charming town and we look forward to visiting again.

This was my second stay at St Geneva. I loved it more this time than the last. Our host thought of everything from kitchen utensils to toiletries. The beds are clean and super comfortable, the living room is inviting, yhe view is stunning and we saw lots of wildlife in the adjacent field for which our host provided binoculars. Location is perfect right between St Charles and Geneva with easy access to both and could be walking distance to coffee shops, groceries, shopping, and restaurants.I will be back.

This VRBO exceeded expectations, which does not always happen! We had just enough space for 4 adults in order to attend a weekend wedding. The host was immediately responsive and helpful, although the place was so well stocked we did not need anything! Historical site and park across the street was a pleasant surprise.

We loved our stay at St Geneva! Michael is an excellent host - very personable and responsive to any questions we had. Check-in was a breeze and wi-fi worked great. The location was perfect for exploring the Fox River Valley - we loved our long walks along the river between St Charles, Geneva and Batavia. Accommodations were really comfortable, including the a/c and overhead fans which we used on some very hot days. We were always comfortable indoors. The kitchen is cozy but very well supplied. Very happy with our stay!

This home was very clean and comfortable. Lots of extras provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Such a nice location right on the river. And the host was very communicative which was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

St. Geneva lives up to everything as advertised and more. The property and living space is larger than it appears in photos. The place is immaculate both inside and out. It is clear why Michael is a super host. He doesn't just offer a place to stay, he provides his guests comfort and joy in unexpected details: beautiful views of the lawn and river, space to sit outdoors under grand trees, Nespresso lattes, a large indoor porch with table and chairs, Bocci ball, Corn Hole, lawn darts, plenty of lamps, a bar space with everything needed to make cocktails, adequate kitchen equipment and more. Michael takes pride in providing a pleasant experience, while also respecting his guest's privacy. I was here with a friend and we each needed to write. We had enough room to give each other space to work. There were two table spaces and a bar that can be used as a stand-up desk. There are plenty of extra chairs. We loved the hour glass for timed writing sessions. An added bonus to the property is its location. Cross the street and access the river trail; it's an easy walk to either St. Charles or Geneva. I will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at St. Geneva. Host was friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and neat. Grounds and views were beautiful. Hope to stay there again when visiting family.

We might not have used them this time but we liked having the option of opening one of those murphy beds. Maybe next time?

We had a wonderful time at St. Geneva. The location was perfect for us with walking trails nearby. It was convenient to downtown and the Q Center. The place was clean, neat and well equipped. Michael was very responsive to our questions and needs. The gluten free muffins were a thoughtful touch for our daughter.

House had everything we needed, lovely decor and location is close to everything. We loved the walking path along the river to downtown St Charles. Lots of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Would definitely stay again!

We were very comfortable at Michael’s place and it was decorated very well. The house was very clean and the air conditioning in each room was a huge help for being there in August! Right by the river so it had a nice view while having breakfast in the morning. Michael was a great host that provided tons of information and even snacks. Thanks so much!
