Saint Charles White House

The host was out of town but the housekeeper was an absolute blessing. We received no information on how to check in but did receive contact information for the housekeeper. There was ample parking for the catfishing boat we brought with us and 2 additional vehicles. There were several light bulbs that did not work in the main house and a few in the small house. The garbage disposal backed up into the sink when we ran the dishwasher in the small house, so we handwashed the dishes. The location was in the middle of town but it felt safe there. This place is perfect for people who want to stay together but do not necessarily want to share a bathroom. We were absolutely content with the location and stoked that we could easily park the boat- we have wasted a lot of money on places where one could allegedly park a boat... (maybe a toy one?)... and we didn't know the truth until we got there, leaving us stranded in a strange location. The parking did not disappoint. The location is literally in the midst of town, so everything was just minutes away. One thing we found a bit frustrating and struggled to work around was the lack of usable cutlery. We were taking the normal size silverware back and forth depending on which kitchen we were eating in that evening. Also, there are no laundry amenities at this location, but it does not say there are- we have simply never been at a VRBO that did not have laundry facilities regardless of whether or not it said it had laundry.

House was nice and provided enough room for all our people to stay. Communication from host left something to be desired.

It was great Needed towels but otherwise great
