Caper on Kings

A very enjoyable stay to celebrate Thanksgiving with our daughter and some of her Lindenwood University ice hockey teammates. The home was as listed and we had plenty of room to spread out. We were able to use the 4-Season Porch as our dining room and the girls were able to use the finished basement as their own space. They really appreciated the full size washer and dryer in the basement. There is plenty of off-street parking with a long driveway adjacent to the home and parking space behind. Property is close to Upshot Coffee, Lady Di's Diner, Lindenwood University and Historic Main Street St. Charles. We will definitely be looking into using this property for future stays.

House was nicely detailed and most accommodating with open ground floor areas and a large sun room to facilitate gathering ease. Bedding, linens, and decor were very nice and the large walk-in shower on the 2nd floor adds a nice touch. Game room is also a plus. A welcome basket containing several local wares and coupons was also provided by the hosts. The house is located in a nice area in close proximity to the old historic district with ease of access to a myriad of local attractions. We will definitely consider a subsequent stay in the event of return travels to the area.

Great place with good location. Beautiful windowed dining room and fun foosball table in basement. Note that steps to second floor are steep, and kitchen pans aren’t large enough for groups of more than 4. But kitchen offered lots of k-cups and there was a nice snack basket. A lot of parking was available.

Caper on Kings is such a charming house!! And so well decorated!! We felt right at home in this spacious 4 bedroom 2 bath. The photos provided in the listing were spot on!! We were so comfortable and thrilled with its location. Its nestled in a quiet residential area near Historical Main St. St Charles. It was very easy to navigate our way to shopping and lovely restaurants. We all agreed that we would stay here again in the future!!

Walking up the front steps of this house, you might not think the home will be spacious enough for 4 couples to stay here, but the layout was great and we all had some private space when we needed it. The pictures are 100% accurate. MJ took great care of us; excellent communication, they were thoughtful with their amenities (coffee pods, teabags, a few snacks/water for us), and the place was very clean & it was easy to fit our 3 cars. Nice quiet neighborhood with a coffee shop and diner 2-3 blocks away and the old St Charles by the river had beautiful patios, quaint shops and lovely cobblestone streets! Would definitely stay here again!
