The property was accurately described on the website. This isn’t fancy, you’re getting what you pay for. The deck definitely needs to be replaced but we just wore shoes and had no problems. Docking our 30 foot boat was easy too. There are no cleats and the dock is skinny but we think the price and the location make up for these few annoyances and we would definitely stay here again.

The inside of the house was clean and we received quick responses with inquiries.

So first I need to debunk a few of the bad reviews. As far as the slip, there are 50’ boats in these slips so the guest that could t get their 25’ boat in the slip because it was too small, and the water wasn’t deep enough says more about the captain than the slip. We were perfectly fine with our 25 foot boat had zero issue and readily docked it. As far as mold and must welcome to North Carolina in the humidity at the beach. I am a severe asthmatic and have zero issues. There is some discoloration around the air-conditioning vents, but all to be expected in North Carolina in the summer with the heat and humidity. The home is perfect with two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms very comfortable beds… Kitchen is adequate, however can be stocked a little better. Some creature comforts might be nice such as potholders which I did not have, some extra blankets for the bed, maybe some throw blankets for the sofa. And an adequately stocked kitchen with glassware And better organization, but if you can look aside those few minor details you will have a fantastic time and should rent this home.

It's not the Hilton but, its perfect for an affordable, clean place to rest, after a day of being out, enjoying the beautiful area. I love that it was priced for what it was.

I do not recommend staying at this property. From the moment we arrived, there were multiple serious issues that made our stay uncomfortable and frustrating. Dock Issues: The dock is in very poor condition. There are no cleats or proper tie-downs for boats, which made docking extremely difficult and potentially unsafe. The dock itself is old, unstable, and clearly has not been maintained. The dock is not marked and you have no idea which dock belongs to the unit. No where to park boat or trailer!! Only positive is the property owner next door to the property!! Deck Safety Concerns: The upstairs deck was dangerous to walk on barefoot. The wood is weathered and splintered — we had to wear shoes at all times outside to avoid injury. This is especially concerning for families with kids. Plumbing Problems and Poor Support: When we arrived, the toilet was not working. After spending hours on the phone with a Vacasa representative (who was not local and seemed unfamiliar with the area or the property), we were told that there was no maintenance staff available to fix it. I ended up having to borrow tools from a friend nearby and spent my first evening — until about 10:30 PM — snaking and fixing the toilet myself. Even worse, Vacasa never followed up the next day. No courtesy call, no apology, no solution — just silence. Possible Mold and Health Concerns: Several air vents throughout the home had visible dark spots around them, which appeared to be black mold or some other bacterial growth. I reported this to a Vacasa representative on Saturday. Again, no one came out to inspect, and no further action was taken. Bottom Line: This property is not being properly maintained, and Vacasa’s customer service and responsiveness were extremely disappointing. I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals over the years, and this was by far one of the worst experiences. I would strongly advise against booking this place, and I will be warning others as well. Past reviews on VRBO and Vacasa list issues that have not been fixed.. bottom line is they don’t care and they will not respond or assist with anything! Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Property and stay was great. Communication from Vacasa, not so much. Had issues with electrical outlets when we checked in. After being told by Vacasa 3 times they would call and let me know what was going on (still waiting on those calls) we checked out with the same issues we checked in with. Some one came to the property while we were gone and left a mess, however nothing was fixed.

The house is great location however it was dirty when we arrived. Food in the couch cushions. Couldn't use the boat ramp or slip. It is not big enough for a 25 foot boat much less a 30 that they say. Water depth is at most 3 feet. If it wasn't for great neighbors we wouldn't have been able to even park the boat there.. I wouldn't recommend it

Do not rent this place, or from Vacasa! My wife and I booked a 3 night stay at this condo so that we could bring our boat and utilize the included dock. Before booking I confirmed that the dock had power and water. When we arrived and opened the door the smell of mildew met us, it was filthy with food crumbs on the counter, BLACK MOLD on the inside of the cabinet doors in the kitchen, and a several months old layer of dust. We promptly notified Vacasa who stated that the last person to stay there was 4 months earlier... which means they had not cleaned the home or been in it for 4 months! Vacasa refunded us the cleaning fee, and did nothing else. We then discovered that the ceiling fan was about to come off the ceiling in the bedroom and the door to the washer and dryer was so that you could barely access them. Also, inside the drawers of the kitchen there were sauce packets, dirty plastic silverware and other disgusting items like rusty scissors. When I adjusted one of the couch cushions... literal FOOD fell out along with a sugar packet. Unfortunately it only got worse, and my wife and I had towed a 24' boat over 5.5 hours to be there, there was no simply going home.We then docked the boat on the TINY fixed finger dock. When I attempted to use the water, it would not work. I called management again who called me back hours later to inform me that the owners had allowed the pipes to freeze and burst months before and had kept this info from Vacasa so they
